And i saw you're page saying you are unsure if it will be paid or not. THERE for HOW can you tell us if you did NOT know yourself. There for you are NOT in the wrong least in my eyes.

I honestly love this mod, idk if my parents would be proud of my finantial decisions, but the 5$ were worth it! (btw I crashed right after the photo)

To all complaining about the price or the fact this is a paid mod, I was homeless not even 2 months ago and i have bought this mod, if someone like me, in my situation current or former has bought this you can too.

 

Not all of us have hundreds of hours of spare time and the willpower to persevere through that to make something that "should be free".

 

Will this mod always be private or will it be in the repository later?

i can acknowledge that not disclosing the pay-wall first day was stupid, but come on, there's a reason why his 94' K Series is the top resource.

 

Honestly, i completely agree with you. You have clearly spent countless hours creating this amazing mod and you should absolutely be paid for it. Yes, i can see where people are coming from with the release of the mod being paid and no mention beforehand, but if you mentioned a week ago, people would still kick off.

The crash hard dummy mod has become paid for and barely any controversy has arisen over that, yet this extremely high quality mod is under fire? (Not saying the dummy isn't high quality) maybe it would make sense to make a "trial" version of this mod? One that has no new wheels, a very basic and cut down version of the car for those who dont want to pay or cant pay?

The fee is tiny as well, 3.80€ which is about £3.22 or 4$. It really isn't that much.

Yes, there are those who will be unable to afford it, but just because some cannot afford it, i understand that. It doesn't mean that lucas shouldn't be paid for his time and efforts. I cant afford anything more than my 2006 honda jazz at the moment, yet my neighbours can afford a new car, im not complaining.

I completely stand by lucas' decision.

people need to stop complaining if i had the skill to make not shit mods id be wanting to make money from them to. 4$ is reasonable for the amount of time something like this takes. Its late im tired and words arent forming in my head but just screw you if you complain just like its the cost of a burger its not a big deal. grow up. I feel like the people complaining probably havent even worked their first job yet and mom and dad wont buy the car for them

Shit like this almost makes me wanna move over to just 2fast racing. The more i look the more annoyed i get. i work at fucking dollar tree right now. like bottom of the barrel stuff yet i could afford this if i wanted. i swear its a bunch of children on this website now days. the people who are "to poor" are probably children who dont want to admit so as they will be kicked off the website

 

Because the quality is crazy on this one, it kinda looks and feels like a 106 and I LOVE 106s xD
(tho I think this purchase might be one of a few exceptions and I wont buy every mod I see either, but you can understand my choice on this one)

Finally I have a job and a salary so I can have a bit more control over my purchaces, so I got this one yesterday.
As expected, the quality on this mod is crazy, and it has a 106 vibe so I NEEDED IT !
(Actually I wanted a 106 1.4 Sport as my first car, got a great 206 insteat which I like, but it's not the same xD )

I will have to spend a bit more time with it but it definetly feels awesome to drive (that kinda worried me, paying a mod and not having much fun with it)
And I think you could really make a demo version of some sort, I would have prefered trying it out before buying it, just in case. (even tho I'm really happy with it now !)

Like many others I think it is unfortunate you did not mention it would be paid, this has already been discused anyway but you know... at least you'll know next time.

If I can have a critic (or mostly suggestions) on the mod tho:
-I think it could feature a bit more interior colors variety (like the little french hatchs had), like one that really have the sporty vibe.
-I know you are making it fit with the official content and it definetly shows no doubt about it, but since it is a mod I think you could take a bit more liberty, adding like 2-3 more "useless" quirky configs like the "Young" you made.

-On that note and the ones just before, it would be great to see inbetween variantes, with the normal bumpers painted and a tachometer for none-sport versions for exemple, so we don't have such a gap from cheap unpainted bumpers to full options GTIs with fender flares.
(+eventually an option between the current 60 OR 90hp)
-About the "Kit-car" config, I see you made a track version with about the same power, but will we see a real kit-car bodykit later ? I know it's a lot of work but I'm kinda sad it's not really there
