two things I want to say 1. it has gone from 18 posts to 29 in a few hours! 2. don't expect modders to give stuff they have worked on for months or even years free, that is basically free labor
Just went to collect the new GTI Picnic, have to say for €5 this is definitely dev quality it's worth it. Alot of hard work went into this so much body detail and more it's great and so much fun to fling around it's basically a Nissan March/Micra rear with a Peugeot 106 front pure brilliance.
While the idea of Paid mods can be a hit and miss. This is one am MORE then ok paying for. I think if the mod is as good as youres or Near it then paid is more then fine IMO. SO again money well spent. This will go well parked next to the remastered Covet in version V. 0.25 Money very well spent. Wow beamng should hire you its just woah.
This cost me $5.37 CAD. It was bloody worth it. It's okay if you don't want to fork out money for this mod, but to complain that you have to pay for a mod that an author poured possibly thousands of hours into this isn't okay. The devs that collectively poured millions of hours into developing Beam.NG are often thankless even though this game can be bought for ~$29 CAD (you can do the conversion into your own currency) on Steam, so to pay for this just encourages the author to create more awesome mods for the Beam community, whether if it's free or not. N.B. The DeLorean was free.
when there are people paying like $20 a month on Patreon for stolen lifted truck meshslaps, a scratch-made mod of this caliber is well worth €3.80 i think
What do you suggest then? Pretty sure one of the biggest gaps in BeamNG is 90s+ hatchbacks. You say you've seen millions ay? Let me list them:Covet (80s), AW Astro (80s), This (90s) ah yes...millions Not only do your comments contradict themselves, they are completely wrong. This mod is extremely well done and at least Dev quality...
Another example of Lucas's amazing work and effort, and even quicker than expected! The fact that the mod is paid does not change the quality of it. The frustration about its very delayed announcement of its price is understandable, as that certainly should have been announced at the start or when he made the decision, but Lucas has already apologized for the mistake. Nonetheless, I will certainly buy this and try it out when I finally get a chance!
i still can't believe how well made this mod is, it quickly became my favourite my new default car, the 1.3 city, it's very nimble and surprisingly fast 10/10 recommend this mod, i never buy mods but this one is absolutely worth it
Huge congrats on this Lucas, a truly incredible mod once again. Hope to see more from you in the future.
Finally, a paid mod that is not betting your life savings on it cause you know the modder is trusted! may you prosper in your future projects, Lucas!
Holy moly, I checked this thread yesterday evening, and now there are like 15 more pages??? Read through a few of them, I think I get the idea. I would be lying if I say that I'm not bummed by the fact that it happens to be a paid mod, but I'll shut up since others said enough already. Looks like I need to wait for another year before I can legally secure a Ko-Fi account...hopefully the mod doesn't become outdated by that point.
We already have like 3 or 4 80s/90s hatchbacks, why the hell should I spend a dime on this specific one?
