I have been rendering alot of my models and the only problem is how can you make those renders high quality? All of my renders all appears a little bit blurry, i don't know why. Could anyone explain me how do you make high quality renders.

This is a render for someone's birthday i made, as you can see some parts are blurred.

PS:Those cars aren't mine, those are for personal use only not meant for beamng so don't accuse me of mesh theft. :p

What modelling program do you use?

I don't use Blender myself so I can only recommend maybe having a look at this wiki page. Hope it helps.

    http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Render_Settings

And btw, the blurry/noisy texture that's going on is most likely to do with your shadow options.

Beep beep Reddustone here i will show you You gotta increase the amount of samples
    Take my boeing for example
So here is an image of it Without much Sampling
    Untitled.png
Increase the render sampling to make the image look less blurry (Note:the render will take longer to complete depends how much sampling you apply to it)
    I hope this solves it

Is it just me or is the rendering still the same? I made it 50 samples btw

Its much less blurry I would say use 100-150 samples to get rid of most of the blur

Its far less noisy. I don't know much about image rendering though :p

More samples = less noise I guess. Maybe a small amount of gaussian blur would smooth out the noise. But thats just from my physics education during an asteroid hunting exersize, I recommend vastly increasing the amount of samples you do. know nothing of image rendering so there's probably something better than the brute force solution.

Re: How do you make high quality renders?

This has been rendered at 150 samples, took like half an hour or 20 minutes there are a few blurred parts but i don't care and i'm proud of it. Thanks for all of your help guys! I really appreciate it!

150 can be considered low for a clean cycle render. Depending on how many lights your scene has, noise can be more or less.
For a very clean render I usually go for 1000 samples. If you have a nvidia GPU with cuda, make sure to enable GPU rendering to reduce your render times. Also update to a newer blender, since cycle is still in development, newer builds are much faster.

Yeah i guess so I don't really have a good GPU but its good enough i can easily render something with 1000 samples in 30-60 minutes
Man now i wan't to render images I might make a thread about nice blender images in the off topic (if thats allowed)

There is already a thread called 'Things you have made I blender or whatever you use' or something like that. Post there is stead of creating another thread.

And 60 minutes for a 1000 passes GPU Render is quite a lot even for the most simple scene (Are you even sure you enabled GPU for Cycles? By default that option is off)

I do a 2000 passes render of a mid complex scene in under 15 mins on a GTX660 (the more Cuda cores the GPU has, better is I think)

I'll check in the settings GPU enabled thing for cycles
Edit:Erm where do i go to Find out if its enabled or not I have checked the User preferences Maybe not hard enough
