In the upcoming 0.4.2 update... -Support for @JorgePinto's EU License plate mod (https://www.beamng.com/resources/european-license-plates-compilation-cherrier-rhd.6952/) -Fix for the police configurations to work in traffic as a police car, and not as a civilian car.
In the next 0.5 update, the concept interior! Yes, that Autron PV1 "Petite Voiture" mentioned in the History, and the development will be in the mod as an actual thing.
i think both pre-facelift and facelift show the wrong speed, in low speeds the difference between the real speed and what the speedometer says is around 10kmh which is quite a lot. i haven't checked it in higher speeds yet, im probably going to send some images tonight if i don't forget
i have noticed that Autron Petitron is very popular in r/BeamNGRP, especially in their Discord server, probably because it's just super cheap looking.
there's one digital magazine of that reddit community / discord server, called illict magazine, and the issue 12 (which is at the moment the current digital issue) has the Autron Petitron on the thumbnail of the magazine, and page 3 has the whole thing about the petitron, and destruction of it. I'm not angry or mad at it, but i feel good that it was mentioned like that. Speaking of that magazine, it has some stuff that did confused me. For example, it says that the Petitron is mostly sold on East of Europe, when it's actually sold mostly everywhere basically, under the P1, and with some special parts, like the USDM has. but the fact they literally shoot the Petitron, is quite funny.
QUOTE="ibishucovet1987.txt, post: 1442375, member: 433359"]is it wrong in Imperial gauges or something? Because Pre-Facelift Metric shows correctly.[/QUOTE] i made a small test of the metric gauges: [gauge speed - irl speed] pre facelift 10kmh -15kmh 20kmh -30kmh 40kmh -47kmh 60kmh -63kmh 80kmh -79kmh 100kmh -94kmh 110kmh -110kmh 120kmh -126kmh 140kmh -143kmh 160kmh -159kmh 180kmh -175kmh 190kmh - 190kmh facelift 10kmh -15kmh 20kmh -30kmh 40kmh -44kmh 60kmh -57kmh 80kmh -69kmh 100kmh -83kmh 110kmh -95kmh 120kmh -107kmh 140kmh -120kmh 160kmh -133kmh another 160kmh -147kmh 180kmh -160kmh 190kmh -175kmh 200kmh -189kmh idk if this helps, but i had fun making this test. pushing the little autron to it's limits was really fun, love the mod --- Post updated --- also, could you make a safety spec autron that would have a driver airbag?
Pre-Facelift seems fine enough, even if it's over the 180 kmh and it shows 175, it's still feels the same. Facelift tho IS a problem here, i'll fix it. --- Post updated --- Here's the progress of the Autron Concept cars, the only thing i will maybe add - the concept gauge cluster. Once i will finish the concept configs, i'll do the prototype cars, if you like to suggest the french prototype hatchbacks, send them here (only the prototypes from the late 80s to late 90s)
Good Morning. One detail that I find a little strange is the black outline of the rear lights. If possible and if an improvement is considered, it could soften them. It would also be interesting to have a small increase in power in the electric versions. I understand they are for an extremely cheap vehicle, but they barely go up a hill. Anyway, one of my favorite MODs. Looking forward to the news.
Concept, of a gauge cluster for the concepts. And also the skin for the concepts. Avaliable both in painted and unpainted trim.
I decided to not make the concept gauge cluster, it's better to keep the original gauge cluster so it will fit better with the plot of the mod, just a reminder, Ibishu gave the blueprints to the Autron, and that means it is very Covet'ish, including the gauge cluster. (yes... a plot, i know it's crazy enough)
Prototype gauge cluster are made instead of concept ones. It's avaliable only in metric, because it's obviously from France, which uses Metric gauges. And also it doesn't has some writings (such as Petrol Fuel Only and Disabled (0)) as it is obviously an early variant of the gauge cluster. The metal cover hides the holes of the gauge cluster, and as you can see, the fuel and temp gauges are just written with a marker on the metal cover. And here's the prototypes by the way. Red car on the left - A SportC prototype of the SportPower, it doesn't has any mentions of SportPower name, but it has a little bit more powerful 1.3 engine than the finalized SportC has. Green car on the middle - Electric Prototype based on SportL, has all badges and front grilles off, and no gauge cluster inside, It's also a recreation of the cut config which planned to be added back in 0.1 as the developer config. Black car on the right - Facelift prototype, pretty much the same facelift as the every other one, except it has pre-facelift interior, but it has the facelift gauge cluster. All of the prototypes will be on bottom of the config list because they will cost really a lot of ingame value (which is currently not used by the game as there's no store system), because they all really rare. I will add more prototypes later. but at the moment, i'll just sit and wait for the Just Cause 4 to finally download... ugh... i mean, see you all soon in the next development post!
I will probably release 0.5 sometimes, because of the Just Cause 4 and 3, it's really taking all energy from me to just sit in these games and play till it gets too much.
what do you think, should i make 0.5.1 update that adds an actual 1.9 TDI Engine? A bad one, but still.
