some of you may know of an old russian mod called "gavril truck", and it is my favorite russian mod, so im going to redo it and give it a better name (like mr crash did with his kamaz and whoever made that bus resurrection) current changes: no longer on d series jbeam better deformation, a lot better 2 frames (small frame is a wip) interior camera hood camera modified jbeam doesnt go 120 mph actually works like a truck can actually tow trailers deformation: the deformation has changed drastically, i crashed it so many times before making this thread and got very few spikes Spoiler: original version Spoiler: new version Known issues: Pedals clip through floor Its not colourable (yet) Fithwheel is a part of the frame and appears when there isnt one Fithwheel shows through flatbed Spikeyness on roof when crashed Credits: "adam from modsgaming.ru" original mod (i can not find the original mod link but his name is in the materials file) place were the mod was gotten from before it was given to me https://www.modland.net/beamng.drive-mods/trucks/gavril-truck-0.7.0-ltpc.html Beamng: T series base @S.Ali.M stopping conflicts with t series, file size reduction, adding parts @a plane guy (me) switching jbeam, model modifications and jbeam modifying. (I am still unsure where “adam” got the model from, if anyone knows please contact me) Spoiler: random pics EDIT: you can modify what you want on this and post it anywhere, this mod was a fun experiment for me and in its current state not really good, do what you want with it.
Yes, hopefully It cant go on the repo or anything as its not my model Adam (the og author) got it from somewere and i have no clue were
No, I figured that it wouldn't be on the repo, but I think it would be cooler and more realistic with a make and model, probably based off a peterbilt or kenworth
kamaz looks nothing like one of these from what ive seen. heres a kraz comparison, they look nothing alike
He meant he downloaded the original mod from a third person russian website, not the truck is based on a russian truck
I think you have got the wrong end of the stick as we say in engaland Were trying to find a similar truck to call it something other than gavril truck, that truck up there does look similar to the gavril truck
But that one has grille mounted lights, this one has fender mounted lights, Ive put a placeholder name as the title while i figure out what truck it actually is
It kinda looks like a peterbilt 359, although I don't think it is spot on. Here is one for comparison
