the front fascia has some bigger changes than just 'new proportions' looks like a new style of headlights, a different lower section of the bumper from what i could tell, with alot more rounded edges and new fender shapes from what i can gather from the angle, plus, if it was a reworking of proportions, it wouldve come with the covet remaster that came years ago when they reworked the D series proportions aswell

I don't think it is, I think they've just reworked the proportions

everything you cited are just proportion changes. It's still fundamentally the same design, also they did somewhat change the proportions a while ago with the other cars but that was back in 2018, and some cars still look very outdated. Keep in mind it was the same thing with the bolide.

Probably just proportion changes, as the SBR and Bolide got (SBR has had tweaks several times now, recently getting a new roof). Yes the Covet already had changes, but most of the roster did when they updated a lot of models and that was seperate from the remasters we have been seeing. There is no precedent for the proportion changes a few years ago to conflict with the current round of remasters. The Covet needed some proportion updates anyway...

it would still make sense for a facelift to occur, given that its getting a good assortment of other body modifications (such as the widebody kit) it doesnt hurt to think it could have a different fascia design aswell

Since we're talking about the Covet, i went on the internet this week, and i found this...

    mid-engine-1984-honda-civic-beauty-shot.jpg

It's a mid-engined V6 Civic, and i can't help but think the devs could have used it as an inspiration for the new Covet, what you think? Is a mid-engined V6 Covet a possibility?

I was curious about the "artist" and i've found that Dennis Mateja (The men who is named on the image) is a "Junior Vehicle Artist" at BeamNG

Here is his page on Bahance.... Where we can see hirochi Sunburst sedan and wagon. I think it's an old mod but... eh.... who knows

Yep, totally!! The 4-cylinders have gotten a bit long in the tooth, so I could definitely see the 2.7 V6 mounted in the middle, with a special Rally/Hillclimb version receiving a Race Long Block and Variable-Boost Twin Turbochargers!

He did a heck of a job for being a “junior vehicle artist. Also, the banner with the sunburst wagon doesn’t have PBR meaning it’s probably the mod. This reminds me, has anyone googled the artist from the civetta teasers? That could help.

    I definitely believe that.
I dont think it’s 3D artwork, looks too complex to not be in game.

I trust you when you say that he did a heck of a job. I was just using " because it was the word that was used. And I don't knew how named him in another way

I found this image on Andreas Focht’s (the supercar artists) linkedin. Looks like it could be the door handles for the civetta.

Maybe they´ve decided to work with 4 month apart updates, with 3 updates per year, that would be mid ground to give us less time to get bored and them more time to work on the updates. Just speculating, have they mentioned anything on what schedule they were going to follow now?
