I don’t get why people feel like they’re literally being attacked when the thread gets off topic. It’s kind of annoying but you can ignore it.
That's really, really cool! Thank you for showing us this discovery! Could I see some comparison screenshots, one with your customized gfx settings, and one with the default values? I'm really curious to see how different it is when compared face to face!
speculate come useless crap. I think that the Covet may come with that wagon like the old civics. And sedan. I know its about time to get a Carby mesh for the engine and the texture when you remove door panel. as well as under the car textures. I think it may be a case of we have a pt 1 update and then pt 2 witch am ok with that . legit i like it more. its like here is half. get use to it. Then BAM 2nd batch. Back to Covet. Wish list. that may happen. I think a Sedan will be needed. BUT seeing we have lots of 80s sedans. I think a wagon will be good. NOT Just the shuttle wagon. But a normal small FWD wagon. Like a 1981 Civic wagon for pre facelift. And the wagon/suv thing for face lift. Will be cool to see them have a face lift and pre face lift versions. I love the Covet and while it got some love its remaster will be good. I loved the pessima remake lots. But Sedan only damm be great to get it in 2 door coupe or wagon. Sorry spelling is worse. Am sleepy lol
Like your config, but, waaaay too mucch contrast imo, probably because your monitor settings are different to my mobile screen. The bloom looks much better, the colours are more sharper/vivid, I like that. I like darker shadows too, but, those shadows look vantablack lol
Yeah i get that too when i use my phone to look at them lol. My monitor is getting old so id probably invest in a new one if i could relocate some money from the money pit in my garage Luckily its easy to 'fix' the contrast in the settings, lower the lumen or middle grey and /or adjust the exposure in world editor
https://beamng.tech/blog/beamng-at-itec-conference/ I know its old article but maybe we see update on this conference day ?
The 244 is also to powerful for 76-78, as I6s lost power too. The 76-78 should have the powerless and the 73-75 should have the current. Thank god threads don't lock at high page numbers like in automation (I think?).
I wish we had a high output 244 I6 version with 190-200 hp, loosely based on the GM 250S that made fame here in Brazil powering the legendary Chevrolet Opala.
You are absolutely right, the current 160hp version of the 244CUI Inline-6 should be on the 73-75 prefacelift and the powerless on the 76-78 facelift. I just thought I'd be a bit nicer if the 244 gained some power for making itself a substitute for the V8s. But then again, when we think that all of the American manufacturers got stuck with engines that were designed without the primitive early pollution control equipment in mind and just forcefully fitted the equipment to them, that was the absolute wrong time period for such a move. I'll edit my post then! Dunno about the Automation forums, I don't hang out in there because I don't play that game!
In terms of career mode, I wonder if there’ll be some sort of dynamic skin system in place to support multicolored body panels. For example, If you drive a black car and get into an accident, would you be able to go to a junkyard and pull replacement body panels from a white car? I only have a very rudimentary understanding of how the game works, but to my knowledge this isn’t really possible. I can’t imagine the materials would be able to differ like that (e.g. a metallic fender and a matte hood). I guess we’ll just have to wait and see
Honestly, I doubt we'll get a sedan covet, but I'm pretty confident we'll see a wagon and/or 5 door body. It just seems like the best way to expand content without doing anything really crazy. Besides, modders will probably make a covet sedan within a month or two.
