WIP Beta released FSO Polonez aka FPS Trapez 0.3

what is possible to come in a new update?

 

I have few ideas for this wonderful mod :
1) aftermarket taillights in different colours than stock ones (white and red, black and red, black, white, full red etc for Caro and Borewicz)
2) bodykit for borewicz which is visible on "Pornolez" from youtube (distrispecial bodykit)
3) "clean" bootlid for Caro (without space for plate) plus Caro rear bumper with custom space for plate.
4) Would be cool if Orciari parts could fell off bumpers and overall from car (like was in mod Škoda 742 & Series where spoiler from front bumper could be detached after accident)
5) rally version (2000, 2000 turbo etc). Overall genuine spec. I believe that rally fans and community from Richard Burns Rally modding scene could help

Big thanks for this mod, In past I was dreaming about something like this. About high quality mod where we can drive and enjoy Polonez in many versions

 

It doesn't open for me. I click on the lever and nothing happens. Node grab just destroys the trunk. Crisis version.

 

Make sure to click precisely on the trigger (green/red box around the trunk lever), it should switch colors once you hover over it with the cursor. It's impossible to use it while in first person view so you should press shift+c in order to switch into free-look camera mode first. Press it once and it should unlock. Then open it by grabbing the trunk nodes, but first set the grabbing force to something like 20/25%, higher values might damage it. At least that's how it works on Coral and Coral Gruz, never tried it on other variants but I'm pretty sure it has to work the same way.

 

It does work on coral grus. And all the way down to MR89. MR86 and earlier won't open.

Same effect. All models open except 86, 83, and 78. Seems like they have different pnez_hatch.jbeam.

 

Could we possibly have MPH Gauges for the RHD configs to represent British versions?

Because it has chrome paintjob. That was the idea.

once there was a Truck variant mentioned on a dead discord server but im not sure if this is still true

 

We had truck DC version teaser two monts ago.

I am patiently waiting for that king of polish pickup trucks so I can finish my polonez scenario.

 

regular update time is roughly 1 months, its been more than 1 months since last update, i dont think that this is dead but hey! lets give marf some time i think something exciting is coming!!

Anyway last week I bought another Polonez, this time its Kombi so now I have some good references for this and also sedan version.
There is a little progress, but do not expect it too soon, unfortunately.

 

Nice, a Kombi. I like the Polonez Caro Plus Kombi because it suits the boxy styling of it.

 

Well, maybe overall shape but definetly not the details, and its the same thing on sedan. In both of them for example edges of the rear side are too smooth compared to the rest, and windows dont have rubber seals like the front one have, so it looks like its aftermarket made. So basically it otfen looks like this when you try to mix early 80s shapes with late 90s

 

I understand that problem. I had a car that were produced from 1985 until 2008 where it undergo 2 facelifts in 1992 and 2003. The 2003 only available as a 5-door liftback where ppl called it an Aeroback.
