I don’t know if I’m just stuck up or my standards are too high, but you really gotta use like 10 grit sandpaper on that model if you know what I mean. It’s a good start though
And the steering wheel and shifter(the shifter taken from bastion). Sorry for lazy work but i am available the most on weekends.
Actually i am trying to call this a UV layout...uhh...I may need some opinions and advice. --- Post updated --- Resolution is 2048x2048
I would most certainly watch some more modelling tutorials before doing any UV work, as the model still needs quite a bit of fixing.
I have a question: do i have to apply mirror modifiers before doing UV unwrapping? Like, if i dont apply, and the uv is only half of the actual mesh, in game it will show only the half of the car textured or what?
The other side will have the same uv as this side, so it will show the same texture but mirrored. The official cars use a second uv for the mirrored side.
I think i ran into a big prooblem. My laptop freezes when i try to bake textures. Kinda freezes, now runs better but the texture stuck at 4% baking --- Post updated --- Now its 6% in 5 minutes since 4%
Rip intel Pentium n3710 1.6 ghz with intel HD 405 --- Post updated --- Actually i left ny laptop at home to finish normal baking. Now i am at school. The estimated time is about 2 hours. God help me.
How can someone have a worse GPU than me, mine is in the middle of the GPU performance list while this is not even on the list lol
