Driving Stereotypes!

Tell me your driving stereotypes in your country.

Example: Philippines, swerve here, swerve there, swerve everywhere!

 

India- traffic, traffic, and more traffic.
and idiots coming right in front of you and almost crashing,
and a whole lot of road rage.

 

China: scooters and mopeds constantly trying to "thread the needle" between cars on busy roads.

 

1st time? idiots here do that too, sometimes its literal cars

 

In Germany we have:
The business man: Tailgating in a black Audi or BMW, blinker left all the time (on BMW only if the optional blinker install package was purchased) and flashing Hi-Beams until you move over
Granny: Doing 70 in a 100 zone and driving almost centered so you can't overtake
The scared: Already going 20kph below the speed limit and braking for every tiny corner down to 60-50
Tailgaters: You going the speedlimit but some degenerate has to be driving inside your boot for no reason, and if you speed up, they will follow you.

I think I got all of the normal ones?

 

Here in Dallas, Texas, 80-100 mph is very normal on highways. You see it everyday. At night you will hear LS, Coyotes, superbikes, anti-lag and the occasional supercar on the highway. The street scene here is insane. I love it. God I love Texas.

EDIT: One bad thing here is people hogging the fast lane, but I'm sure that's common everywhere.

 

The ordinary pennsylvanian driver: cant drive for shit, hardly uses blinkers, ends up making my dad swear like a sailor

apparently they dont matter either on 81, at this point its just become a joke in my family that 81 is a deathtrap with the amount of accidents

 

yep seems everyone where i live does like 10 under the speed limit like they have a beer can stuck under the gas pedal

 

Germany - masters of lane discipline any one disobeying the rules of the road disappears!
Britain - Gotta have your head on a swivel
Canada - Eh?

 

Not just china does that lol

 

New York, idiot in a clapped out Nissan Altima cuts you off. Lifted ram with big wheels tailgates you.

 

Meanwhile, A guy in a 2005 Ford F-150 flips you off.

 

Baku, Azerbaijan:

• Whole city filled to the brim with salvage auction cars imported because of high new car taxes
• 90% of those salvages being Priuses and being used for Uber or Bolt because they are cheap
• Rich kids driving bimmers bought by their dad and trying to race every fucking car on the road, probably has valved exhaust, stage 1 at best
• Pseudo mafioso driving gwagen thinking they are Russian gangsters
• 50 year old government workers driving Prados, land cruisers, lx570s

Perth, Western Australia:
Everyone drives too fucking slow, everyone sits in the right lane (we drive rhd cars), everyone overtakes you then slows down, everyone has a pogo stick on the accelerator, no one can go over 2 kilometers under the speed limit in the right lane, everyone speeds up as you over take them (especially with the elderly or on country highways, usually both). And NO ONE, i mean absolutely no one can take a slight curve on a highway with out slowing down to 85-90 (kmh). Then of course you have angry young people like me who just want to get where their going faster than everyone else. Funny when i was driving the Valiant (for the two days it ran that was) everyone around was a little more behaved. Probably because they didnt like having some prehistoric monster bearing down on them in the rearview as they do 90 in a 100 zone...
