Re: General discussion chat I just got back form Indy tonight, the truck is a beater but for the right price it could be a lot of fun. Those things were built to be abused and have only what you need. It's a 6.2 which is the engine you want, or at least the engine I'd want. Make sure you have an opportunity to see the truck run,rev,and drive if you are thinking of getting it. Check the frame for excessive rust, twisting, or any damage, don't bid if the frames bad. Body defiantly needs some help, Just make sure you paint over the primer/Bondo, primer and Bondo will absorb water if not painted over which can lead to problems.
Re: General discussion chat It's in indy, and I'm in Tennessee. If we buy it, it'll be sight unseen. It's risky, but if it had serious problems like a bent or twisted frame, they'd probably point it out. If the engine is bad, I'd have no problem replacing it with a used or new 6.2. Wouldn't be a huge job to switch it out. And the 6.2s are reliable, but for what they weight don't really make much torque, and are severely lacking in the horsepower department. If we bought it, I wouldn't baby it, but I wouldn't exactly beat on it either. Thousands of people have bought from this site without problems. Actually a lot of the cucv's around are bought from here lol. These things go for cheap on the auction sites anyway. I bet it'll go for under 3,000.

Re: General discussion chat Well, to be fair the changelog says the last update was in Saturday, the 5th of July 2014. So roughly 2 months without an update, though the next update is gonna be huge with the collision improvement and multi-dae support and all that. I'm really looking forward to multi-dae so I can easily bring some ideas into the game.
Re: General discussion chat That reminds me, a friend of mine got their steam account hacked, and defriended everyone. They haven't recovered the account yet, and i'm not sure if they will ever come back. I sent a ticket to steam support explaining the situation, hopefully the account can be recovered.

Re: General discussion chat Some games' single player modes just create a local server and connect to that. Not sure if that's what BeamNG does, as it mainly seems to be multiplayer-centric games that do it, but it could be the case.
Re: General discussion chat I think that is a default Torque3D file. In the same way many single player games made in other engines may contain lots of multiplayer scripts just because they were never taken out.

Re: General discussion chat Yes, it will also most likely work on the next version of windows and the one after that. You can get pretty much any pc game to work on the latest version of windows if you know to get it to run or are willing to put some time into making it run.
