Why not keep these mods to yourself, everyone can go into jbeams and edit an engine for 1 billion torque... why not do something prductive like making an i6/v6/engine for a car that the car doesn't normally have? like covet i6. You know, like a realistic engine, that takes like 1 hour to make realistic, that is true effort worth releasing. me I don't enjoy a 10 000+Horse Power Car

because it is a near effortless mod, anyone can sit down open a file and add 5 zeros to the torque curve/= not everyone can make a realistic engine mod, that requires testing, patience, and the keyword, effort. And this isn't generally where you would release this mod. It should go in the showroom under Mods and Skins.
guys, just be happy someone else is at least editing game files! it may not a good mod, but just ignore it. yes there is very little effort put into this, but be thankful he is at least learning basic jbeam. @at tripwire. thanks for attempting to learn jbeam. its always nice to have a new modder!
our views of jbeam are different. When you edit the engine.JBEAM you are messing with jbeam values. jbeam is the whole file in my mind, not just n/b. i dont see why you are hating on this guys mod. let him experiment. Just tell him, Please dont post a mod until it is a unique mod. one that no one else has really done. oh and by the way chernobyl, you havent released anything. once you have, i will respect you more. but currently someone who posts shit on someones mod that they thought would be cool to share, gets no respect from me. He is taking the introductory steps into jbeam, WHICH YOU never did. your ONE project is on hold. So please, lets get some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on this thread. </rant>
Well I kinda said that it would be better to make a more interesting and creative mod so in a way that was a little constructive, but also just wanna say thanks for stating jbeam ins't just the skeleton but the engine values and everything that isn't textures and mesh. I feel alot of people don't notice/understand that. Also Chernobyl is kinda a good fourm member in my books, with good suggestions, ideas and the lot, he/she (assuming she) has helped me personally and she is a Senoir Member with nearly 700posts, that does account to a sort of respect, to me.
ok yea. I was pissed when i wrote that. He has had good suggestions and is a senior member. I do respect him/her for that. Also judging by content is a bad way to judge.

Well people on the internet throw that word around like candy these days, I have the right to be angry, just putting that out there. This is the first time I've seen someone on this forum comment on a forum post I made with that word in it so that is why I was so angry about it. Generally when I hear it in a negative sentence I just get kinda miffed about it but this forum isn't generally a place I like to see stuff about it. If you ask me however the most unnecessary is when I see people use it as an insult in an fps like CS:GO sorry if I'm story telling here but I must go on. Me and my friend were highly experienced on the game and we went to take a detour around somewhere and it didn't go as good as usually so this guy called me and my non-autistic friend autistic for not following his dumb-ass orders 100%. I would of gone off on his ass but to keep things low-profile I just sucked it up and stopped talking for awhile. and YouTube seems to enjoy it too but the rest of this conversation is meant for another day.
