Off-topic thing but it's funny how I got the Lego Defender set way back when it first released and left it forgotten in my closet, it's strange that only now I remembered it lol

Y'all are making me want to build it, which I might during some time in April it is (I left the set unopened in the closet through this whole time)

 

Unfortunately i had no choice to take mine off display when the beasty bmw s1000rr came out. Sad day

Do it mate, its a fun but complicated build. the gearbox is the the tricky bit, i found a problem after i finished and lost a few non essential pieces on the rebuild -___-
and as for the saggy suspension, feel free to work your magic on it hahaha

 

Not really a major thing but just wanted to let you know, the tires on the real Defender are 255 (275 on the V8) while in the mod the only tire sizes are 225. https://www.wheel-size.com/size/land-rover/defender/2020/

 

Made a small optimization of the mod, now the configs are loaded 2-3 times faster and the weight has also become less.

 

If there was a best beamng mods list on the forums this would probably be on it
amazing work with the mod and updates

 

I made another small improvement to the headlights.
I added LHD versions of the normal LED lights. (might do the premium ones later too)

This addition may be unnecessary but i am a perfectionist so i had to do this.

Unnecessary? Not at all! These kind of details really make the difference

 

The gauge needle is laggy(not gameplay-breaking though), those in ETK800 are much better.

 

Reduced the size of all the previews to 500x281 px (as in the standard cars) and converted them to jpg format + more centered the camera position as the standard cars, example:
