Update Speculation thread

Yes, such Rally cars weren't out of place in the rallying scene of that era plus they're a niche not yet represented in BeamNG (after all, how else can the Rally Springs in the Parts Selector be justified?)! So I definitely see why such variants for the Burnside, the Bluebuck and the Barstow could be added when their remastering time comes!

Yep, the Barstow is the smallest of these three Gavril models, so it would only benefit the variety of models representing this niche!

 

I have a craving for a teaser.

 

Same... damn how does time pass so fast yet so slow at the same time? It's only been 11 days since the last teaser, maybe we'll get another one this Tuesday? But who knows

Me too, but OK, with the insane amount of stuff added in each Update, it's very easy to be craving for news!

 

I hope the next teaser is something in-game. The past 4 have been artists renditions or blender models.

I really hope some level content is in the works, it's been over 3 years since the last all new map (Italy).

 

A new map would be nice since lately they focusing on only cars

I’d dig a new map. Remasters are cool but I’d really like to see something all new

 

It's been years since a new map. I know some of the mapping crew has been working on remasters, but I dont think every level artist has been working on remasters. Come to think of it, LJFHutch has been very quiet for the past few years.

they did make gridmap V2.0 not that long ago.

but otherwise, since then the only stuff they likely need to rework is converting the existing maps to PBR, and a possible remaster of the cliff map, meaning they've likely got something at least at the planning stage.

and whatever it is, I'm almost certain it'll be another 4x4km map, as it would just be weird to have Italy as the only large map in the game.

No offense, but that map is never going to get anything. It was something that four guys could make to give more variety to their game, but now that they are a proper indie game studio, it wouldn’t make financial sense to remaster that map.
