I wonder if they will do a similar naming style to the Bolide and name it after some nature/weather-related thing (Bolide means Meteor, and Fulmine means Lightning Bolt in Italian). There's a constellation pattern behind the car on the teaser, so maybe Civetta Costellazione? Civetta Stellare? Civetta Death Star?
Supercar would look more like this (a little bit higher) and more hypercar-ish like this (a little bit lower) original:
I do really like the idea of naming all of Civetta's lineup after weather stuffs, I do hope to see that officially. I'm still convinced that this will be a halo car but not a full on hyper car. Going all out on the first modern true performance car with a hyper car would be really ambitious, but we still need some room between this and stuff like the high end SBR & K-Series models. Also, making this a halo car opens up room for some unique drivetrain options that an entry-level supercar wouldn't have. It would be a bit dissapointing to see two modern V8 performance cars in a row, and there's plenty of other opportunities to see an N/A V10 in the future (luxury sedan, SUV/Truck, American not-a-Viper, etc...)
So they revamped the entire new Civetta worj then, because there's no way this front goes with the rear they showed last month, it's not even the same era of cars
it's the same car, i doubt they will make 2 different versions of the civetta, as both have the civetta badge, they are not from different ages either, i guess these are not the final versions what we will see ingame anyway
i see where you are coming from, with the first teaser looking like it belongs to a much taller vehicle, where this one is low slung, im guessing it just appears tall with how much aero is shoved onto the back
I can definitely see Civetta getting two cars. It has had only one vehicle since 2013, which was the car with the least content and one of the oldest ones as well. Civetta has so much potential, and people have been begging for a new supercar for ages, so it just goes hand-in-hand, doesn't it?
im sure they will get an expanded lineup, but seeing as he bolide already has had a remaster with alot more options, i doubt civetta would get two new vehicles, the effort to make two brand new vehicles is immense, and in one update, i just cant see it that coupled with the new covet remaster thats supposed to come out in this update aswell, its just alot to expect. will they eventually have more than just the bolide and the new supercar? yeah of course, but it would be extremely optimistic to expect it in this update it would be pretty awesome though
I hope they add PBR to Italy with this update, I believe the new materials and graphics have been one of the most important changes in the last couple years. The experience is much more immersive with the new graphics, and the space feels much more real and so does the driving experience. I have come to the point where I´ll only play in Utah and Jungle island because other maps feel like such a downgrade. Italy will surely look great, can´t wait. Along that I´ll say that my guess is that west coast will be extended when it gets PBR because its borders have always looked to me as if theyd been designed for a future extension, the city dies suddenly, the bridge leads to an empty island which could be filled with some cool features and so on. Also, for a further map, I´d rather have a larger map that multiple maps, meaning different areas or biomes instead of different maps, allowing for longer routes and not having to swap maps. They could even insert older maps like "industrial" as a part of a new larger map. What do you think?
It kinda depends on what we mean by "two vehicles". With how common "special" editions of supercars are right now it would make sense to have a fair number of models based on one platform. Just look at the Ferrari F8/SF90/488, McLaren 720S/Senna/Speedtail/Elva/GT, Lamborghini Aventador/Veneno/Centenario/Sian/Essenza/Countach, etc...
@kyleatkinson1994 what the hell did you do lol If I am reading this right, they should have a chat about what?
