Actually not. It behaves worse than the Tograc in Crashes. At the same speed (usually I test at 100 km/h because 64 is "easy" for modern cars) this Defender deforms almost as much as the Roamer or other 90s car, instead of behaving like the car it was based on in game, the Tograc (that also is as modern as it)

Again, the jbeam in general definitely needs improving, but that's too far from my expertise to be honest, in fact I don't even know how the car is weaker than the Tograc, since I only adjusted the shapes and in fact made the weight higher...anyway, surprise update time! :)

Would it be possible to make a defender 90 (a.k.a the 2 door version) by any chance?

Higher weight naturally requires more strength so that could be the issue

It's not the best, but it's the best I could do.

Thank you for your comments, they mean alot. I'll probably get in contact with Jorge via DMs and send him the skin file. It'll be included in one of the updates in the very near future for all to enjoy. I don't normally release skins, or put them into others mods, so think of it as an early christmas gift? Or something along those lines.

You're welcome! I realized this late the Roamer has a crew-cab-sized rock slider, which is better in terms of size and jbeaming, way easier than trying to adapt the ones from the Hopper, which is what I was trying until now ;)

Great job! I'll be awaiting then :)

Wait...the Roamer has rocksliders? Or did you mean to to say D-Series?

Either way, they work brilliantly. I've just done some crawling on the Utah map and managed to do some quite difficult stuff without damaging the vehicle.

wonder if this defender can remake the time that Doug DeMuro (yes he owns 2 defenders) crushed an audi and a spectra

So far this is one of the best mods on beam, it is super realistic, thank you for all the updates and the newly added rock siders, one suggestion if possible can longer off-road shocks be added for some more off-road flex.

finally decided to update from the day 1 edition and holy moly the differences, so many new parts lol. i am loving it, only issues ive found is on the x p400 offroad config the 2 rear doors jbeam is kinda whack and on the crawler config imo the axles are extremely weak. other than that its really good!

I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask but will there be a 2 door?

It's "planned" but currently out of reach atm, as it's a much bigger job than originally anticipated.
