Really wish they focused on aero improvements rather than AI improvement, but I guess something is better than nothing
i just want the AI to have a "racing mode". using/making AI Scripts is just hard enough. plus GamerGull has a mod has templates to make AI for races. i wonder if that is a sign od things to come?
It's my favorite and it's SO out of date. Last update of significance was years ago. The 1950s was an iconic, crazy, historical decade for American automotive design and this is the only thing we have in the game to represent it. Kinda sad.
True that. 1950s America was full of tail fins, convertibles, pale colours, Wagons and Pickups with wood panelling, curved windshields, chrome, rear wheel skirts, low-slung coupes and some more chrome! The Burnside has pale colours, rear wheel skirts, chrome and some more chrome (plus the amazing Lead Sled body, which shouldn't have a modern tuning steering wheel piloting it, it looks awful in the car) but it's still missing a lot of content appropriate to its time period! One more note about the Special, apart from the Lead Sled's inappropriate steering wheel: its animated Manual Column Shifter should also be copied to the other cars using such a shifter (like the Bluebuck and Moonhawk)!
You know they have different people working on different parts of the game at all times, its not like for one update the whole team focuses on one car or just the AI so there could still be aero improvements going on that we aren't aware of
You made me think we got a new map for a second. He’s probably just alluding to some under the hood improvements, I think.
I’m pretty convinced Italy will have a remaster because all of the other big maps (east coast, west coast, Utah, and JRI) have been remastered.
Besides a texture update I think Italy needs a forest and foliage overhaul. The wooded areas are extremely barebones and barely have any roads going through them, and the trees/bushes are really showing their age compared to more recent content.
I just saved over the Lead Sled configuration with one with the regular Burnside wheel. The default wheel is so heinous and completely anachronistic.
The wentward is still a pretty new vehicle (2018): I personally do not think it needs a full revamp, what it needs is parts separated into more slots. JBEAM is good, model is good, textures are good.
Anachronistic it ain't, it's just too much "2000s Japanese tuning" in aesthetic to suit the car, so it looks heinous. --- Post updated --- A couple of months back though, just before the 0.24 Update, we saw a 3-axle version with a steerable rear axle and a longer body. When its remastering time comes, this variant will certainly enter the BeamNG lore.
Not talking about this one! There's a certain site a couple of members in here discovered and it has some pictures of what was about to be part of the 0.24 Update and what is designed/planned for the future! I don't remember its name though! Here's one picture of the remastered H-Series this site has.
Guess that you're speaking about Nadeox's Imgur https://nadeox1.github.io/ Anyway, I'm 99.99999999 % sure that on this pic he was using the mod I mean, even if the were remastering the Wentward, they wouldn't tease it like this, clearly, on a path and not on an official account
