    You are saying it like it's an achievement to be better than e92
    I would expect it to be more reliable as it has like 20% of the electronics and 10% of Technology used in the e92 lmao

    Why is everyone arguing about this, obviously it wasn't reliable and that's a fact, but not only reliability makes a good car, for communist standards it was pretty good, definitely it was safer than other cars on that side of Europe (a lot of them were literally deathtraps), the design had some uniqueness instead of just being a Fiat ripoff or another Lada, and sure at the end of its production it was crap compared to other cars, but that's only because it had a ridiculous production time range and an absurd amount of facelifts instead of improved new generations. And another factor that makes it better was the fact that the chassis was easy to adapt for A LOT of different body styles, which helped save a lot of money for the factory, they didn't have to design a brand new car, but instead they could adapt this one to practically any needed purpose. Family car, truck, van, ambulance, hearse, limo, etc. That's my opinion on this.

    most if not all communist cars are very reliable
    keep an eye on rust and they last well.
    the 1.9 GLD polonez and the 1.4 Kseries engines give little to no trouble and the OHV engines have 20+ years of development behind them

    Yes, there is some. Lift version will be for sure, but not so sure about that second one, because its kinda tricky to sort that half frame thing so it breaks correctly :)
