I have improved the deformation by a lot, fixed the windshield, fixed rockers deforming, fixed front suspension issues, fixed door hinges deforming the fenders, strengthened roof and A pillars slightly, etc. But the biggest issue still exists by now, it's the hood. I can't believe I left it so badly made, it might be worse than in the original mod. It's super unstable, and after deforming it wants to bend back into shape, and that damages the front of the car, and causes the sharp deformation that you see below. I have to redo it from scratch, there is no other way. But you can also see that the car deforms closer to reality now aside from that issue, I call it a success for today.

This is not what I planned to do but I accidentally figured out how to make the engine smoke heavily so I added that effect to the broken air filter:
    dwfasf.png
Also included a version without exhaust smoke, only engine (so the engine is still broken, but dry, and in the other version maybe some rain has gotten inside through broken air filter):

And also I discovered that the beater config with the SuperSport engine is super fun to drift so I'll make a proper config out of that lol

That beater paintjob, those rims, that's too much of a tease, I want to drive this nugget right now. But of course it's gonna take some time before we'll be able to, and that's understandable. But damn, it looks great :D

New hood Jbeam prototype, old one in the back for comparison.

I saw so many mistakes in the old one that I had to check other parts of the car to see if they also had them, but fortunately, only the hood was so bad. It deformed when opened (and could even break off headlights then) and didn't even exactly fit the shape, the hinges didn't line up in it and it clipped with the rest of the car sometimes. Nothing was alligned precisely and many angles were wrong. Idk what I was thinking when I made it, but basing it on the Piccolina was probably a bad idea. (Now only some triangles and a few beams are left from Piccolina lol, the rest is scratch made). The new one has more nodes, and the node density is higher than on vanilla cars, which is a bit of a concern for stability, but so far it isn't causing any issues. This density is required for it to deform like in real life, where most of it stays in shape and only the front part bends. Some finishing touches needed now, and then testing and improving deformation.

(Here is a view of the model with Jbeam, the front middle intentionally doesn't line up because the model is wrong, this should be way more flat, realistically it wouldn't open otherwise)

I hope this is accurate enough, I have no idea how to make it better, it might as well be a model issue that the deformation is kinda "sharp" looking.

    More crash testing:
49 km/h (can't get up to 50 on this runup, the doors fall off because the fenders collide with wheels and get crushed which breaks the hinges, idk how realistic this is)

Idk what I'm even testing at this point, looks like all is good enough.

If you are crash testing it so thoroughly then maybe try crashing two(or more) maluchs into each other, to see if there are any sticking issues?

Even though I'm not familiar with the Maluch, usually door hinges doesn't break on crashes. They get bent "locking" the door, but if they are not rusted, they won't snap. Maybe reinforcing the standard hinges can solve the door ejection problem

The problem is not with the strength of the hinges, but with the pillars that the hinges are on getting crushed, which is a really weird issue that I haven't seen before and I have no idea what is causing this. It only ever happens when hitting a flat solid wall, so probably a geometry issue somewhere. I'll try to fix this and a billion of other stuff that I found meanwhile. And I know that irl this car has a problem with bending hinges, it can lock you inside the car, good that the windshield is removable so you can walk out through it if needed.
Also question: Does anyone know how strong the taillights are on this car? Headlights I know are really weak, they fell off on the original crash test and they can also be easily "popped out" when you hit them from behind, but idk about taillights, they seem kinda too weak to me now when they fell off on 50 km/h crash.

Well, IRL even if the pillar is crushed, the door gets crushed. They even stay closed (so the latch is quite strong). Although, I remember that the Piccolina's door hinges break on front impacts (only happens to it), so maybe that's a problem carried from the Piccolina.
I'd suggest you to take a look on the Miramar jbeam around the door, since it is equally old and doesn't have that problem.

The Piccolina doesn't have such a problem to THIS extent. The doors only open at like 80 km/h impact, not 50. And they don't break the hinges, just open. It doesn't have a problem with crushing the pillars either, because the fenders resist impact, and I can't do the same thing for this car since the fenders are supposed to be weak here. And I should also make it so bending the hinges actually geometrically prevents the doors from opening on crash. Definitely it won't be an easy fix.

If they let me make a skin and FSM Niki emblems (of course changed names for lore friendly ones) I can do it
    --- Post updated ---
Also, i have a question to the author. What do you think about rebaging it to Polski Autobello Picolina 2 gen or something simmilar?

You want to make the skin and emblems, go ahead. The mod won't be lore friendly yet because rebranding it would be a lot of work and we want to get version 1.5 out as soon as possible, of course with proper quality.
