Until further notice, I am halting progress with the truck due to personal reasons, I cannot continue. Thanks for understanding, hopefully it will be released sometime this year. I introduce: over 1 week of messing with Blender, countless crashes, A lot of errors yet still alive: THE 1970 BRUCKELL FLAIR! With the booming demand for pickup trucks in the USA and Canada, automotive manufacturers were beginning to join the bandwagon by creating their iterations of pickup trucks. The 1970 Bruckell Flair was introduced as Bruckell's response to the early models of Gavril D-Series trucks. Featuring a modified Moonhawk V8, bored to 357cui, heavier suspension, Four Wheel Drive and a radio like no other, the Bruckell Flair was THE luxury truck everyone wanted. Priced at only $7800, this affordable yet durable pickup comes standard with a carbureted 357 V8, 5 speed manual transmission, limited slip rear differential, Open front differential, as well as air conditioning! Bruckell Rodeo Bruckell Flare (Flair?) Bruckell Series D (Ehhhh) Gavril Classic Six Gavril Rodeo Gavril D-Series Classic (Idk about this one( Burnside Rodeo (I actually like this one) Burnside Flare Burnside J10 Just a few possibilities I thought of and wrote down. I honestly believe we need more Burnside vehicles in Beam since there's really only the one.
Ah, I'm not up to date on the lore anymore. Bruckell to me doesn't have that much ring to it as Burnside tho. I'll most likely brand it as Bruckell anyways lol
bruckell B100 to B500 B100 is like generic 70's mini truck, B200 is sort of d-series level, B300 is basically a d25, B400 is a heavy duty like the d35, and B500 is like ambulance platform or towing platform if it's not a series truck, and it's just this with different configs, bruckell B350 would be good too also burnside died in 1980, so you could probably name this as some old luxury farm truck made by burnside
For right now, it's a single truck with a few different configurations. I am looking at making it a series vehicle later on with a LOT more configs and loads of new features as I get better with 3D modeling, maybe even a complete overhaul/rebuild of the model from scratch with more detail Everything with it just fits together really nicely* if I am honest, it's hard to know what to do with most stuff. One thing I need advice on is how to do realistic textures with the UV mapping. I've never done anything like that, so I am going to be looking around the forums for any info on that
Thanks! I got looking at it tbh, Flair works best. --- Post updated --- Teaser for one of the configurations.
It seems kinda of weird that it uses a Gavril V8 even thought it is supposed to compete with the d-series
Mostly because I am still expirimenting with the scaling and whatnot. I'm having issues with that for some reason. It shows up in game, but not very well haha
