Tried it myself; has taken about 15 minutes to finish with the CPU constantly being at 3,84Ghz & ~90% usage
Thanks for the tip. I tweaked my PBO again and this time the score increased by quite a lot, albeit pretty inconsistent. The average CPU frequency was 3.4GHZ (i'm not sure why it's not running at full speed)
Anyone with a 12700k? Just ordered some ddr4 3600 c14 Need to decide if i get a 5900x or 5800x3d or 12700k! Edit: Just saw the 12700k perform about the same as the 12900k
@bonami2 I put several results from this topic in one graph. It seems, that both 5900x and 5950x have balanced result, without drops. 12700k and 12900k can match or beat 5900x and 5950x, but at enormous power consumption, so I don't think they are worth(also high MB prices). Big drop between 7-8 cars on intel alderlake cpus could be caused by 8P - 4/8E core design, but also termal throttling, we don't know what was temperature and frequency during test.
The frequency is reported in the spreadsheet (column "E"). Each result posted here should have a screenshot of CPUz or similar software to monitor the frequency during the test. Some users include it, some write the frequency the cpu is running at (maybe from a manual all-core OC), some don't show nor tell the frequency. In the latter case I pick the factory maximum turbo frequency, so some frequencies shown may be higher or lower than the actual value.
Big thank you for sharing this! Did not even know we could do that i was browsing on my phone lol. Still thinking about a 12700k. I wonder if we will ever get Big crane and or vehicle like in Rigs of rods. So since am pushing 4k 120hz i need all the cpu power. Am still somewhat stuck between 5950x and 12900k if i go all out. But i ordered ddr4 3600 cl14-14-14-34 and intel z690 arent really more expensive than am4 here in canada. We need more testing since the 12900k got hyperthreading on 8 of the P-core and none on the P-core i wonder if disabling Hyperthreading would boost performance?
Is there anyone who has a I5 12400 (F) who did a benchmark with it? I would be very interested in the results.
Ryzen 5800H (Stock) With tune through AATU (it hits over 450 consistently, but throttles due to lack of cooling, even though fans are pinned at 6k rpm )
I use CPU monkey "real all-core boosts" on my CPU DB. I miss a lot of those values for many skus, so I also use max advertised boosts when something better is absent. --- Post updated --- CPU managed 440 Mbeams/s, being the best performance/value CPU ever tested to date (excluding motherboard prices). CPU ran with turbo limits turned off. 422,706 is the score with the limits in place --- Post updated --- --- Post updated ---
