We're not sure enough to know but Alpha phase always needs improvements in a game.

I was thinking with the USDM Civetta wouldnt the power and torque figures be different because of emissions laws or something, since the Emissions laws came into effect in 1972 that would mean these cars would be effected by those laws and it wouldnt be like 340PS it would be well below 200PS, I am just saying

I dont think so, I think it was different for the US because of the Smog rules and stuff, the EU never had such confinements

they wanted to keep it as a death kart.

    OT:
Probably directly imported, without looking at emissions regs.

Ah like those "illegally" imported R34s which were deemed as R32s, maybe they could have a specific model built with the regs in mind

The suspension feels really weird in the Group 5.
When near the apex of a turn where both throttle and brake are very low, the cornering G forces often plummet from 1.3~1.4G to 0.9~1.0G out of pure random.

Wouldn't that be because the car is slowing down and its tyres are slipping? Never particularly noticed it, have more fun simply driving the thing not worrying wether the G-Forces get funny.

Here's a suggestion that'll probably never see the light of day, but it feels like it'd be so easy; the ability to put a rear license plate on the Group 5 bodykit.

For some reason, the Power glow skin on the Bolide doesn't work.

PBR doesn't support powerglow, maybe all powerglow skins will get removed, unless the devs figure out a way to make them work with PBR

[QUOTE="McBeamer94, post: 1409868, member: 336809" Also, for some reason, the USDM 350 versions have a 5km/h lower top speed (249km/h vs 254km/h of the Euro-spec models), despite them weighing only 5kg more.[/QUOTE]
I don't think you're accounting for the aerodynamic drag difference between the two specs. The USDM bumpers are a bit more draggy than the European spec.

Aero don't work that way in game yet. The most important is weight and some spoilers/wings that actually will create drag.

Wrong. BeamNG simulates drag of every single surface. USDM models have 8 additional surfaces on the front bumper, and they are angled straight vertically which creates a lot of extra drag, even if the drag coefficient of each individual surface is small.

One more wrong detail: the small protruding rails on the Pop-up Headlights, used for moving them up and down, clip a bit through the fenders. If you zoom very closely, it's more clearly visible.

Plus, one suggestion: since the Scintilla has the Owl badge on its fenders, wouldn't this also make sense for the Bolide to have it on its fenders too, for the sake of historic continuity?

Does anyone else find the Bolide's styling just a little too sensible, leaving a gap in the BeamNG lineup for a true 80's wedge car?

I mean, Civetta is the standard brand in the BeamNG lore when you think of the word "Supercars". The Bolide has to have a sensible version (which is the "350") with clean design, in order to sell. And it does have the classic wedge profile, especially in the 350 and 390 GT versions, which don't feature the bulged GTT body kit, like the 320 GTT/320 GTR versions do.
But yeah, there's certainly room for an even crazier, limited production Supercar from an unknown brand. And when I say "even crazier", I mean "take the 320 GTR variant and max it out to 22 instead of 11"! Gemballa-style or Vector-style!
