also even considering the wording that the devs used "early concept art" I feel like they would've put a different caption and clarified in their tweet that this isn't something thats planned the way that the devs worded it makes it seem like they're in the early stages of something, although what we don't know yet
yeah, it would be stupid to hype up people and then say it was just a concept so it mgiht be coming, so im happy
Since the bolide was recently updated, could it be a new civetta? Or could it be some gavril sportscar like Ford gt40? Looks more european so im going to say civetta (Etk)?
I feel like the Fulmine name would fit well on this car as it means lightning in Italian. As for the wing I think lower trim models should have no wing or an electronic spoiler while higher, track focused trims should have a fixed wing that fits the design of the car (think Aventador SV).
I doubt it because I saw the classic "Wen relez? When it's ready." crosstalk in the tweet about this car and this is the classic BeamNG answer when something is being made in the BeamNG HQ! --- Post updated --- Also, Fulmine is a fantastic name for a car. It drives home the point of the car being fast and wind-cheating! There's also the Giallo Fulmine colour in the Civetta colour palette, so this would be a nice combo! --- Post updated --- Yes, a flush rear wing, like that of the SBR4/eSBR would be really nice!
This. I can totally see a mild hybrid system solely to boost 0-60 performance into drag-car territory for this thing.
It’s the only powertrain they haven’t done, so I strongly think it’ll be here We’ll probably get the car by April ish
This new car's design is pretty sick. I wonder, what production years will it be? I'm not too sure that it's going to be a brand new 20's car (as in 2020's), I think it might be last decade (say 2015-2019?), however, I'd love to see evidence pointing to the contrary! Anyways, I'd guess we'll get plenty of fancy driver aids- ESC, TC, active aero, and perhaps also torque vectoring? As for engines: While I 100% agree with the engine options, I want to point out that supercars rarely have different engine options. The displacement may vary, certain components such as intake or exhaust or heads may vary, but the block is usually a part that is not changeable, because of engineering costs relative to production scale (just a few thousands of units are not worth the cost), and also because, especially on modern supercars, it's a structural component of the car. So my speculation is we'll have one engine, with different stroke size (so different displacements) and/or twin turbos, as it's upgradablilty options. I lean towards the V10 or V12. V10 has sounds in-game already, and I personally think that the Lexus LFA is one of the most incredible supercars ever, and it had a V10. Just look at it, listen to it! But a v12 is also a possibility. W16 is too ridiculous IMO, but who knows! What I'm also curious about is speed. Will it compare to the SBR in terms of track performance? Will it be faster? What I'm also considering here is "game balance"- once proper AI is implemented, it will be something important. As of right now, the SBR is probably the fastest car in-game around a track, but the Bolide, Sunburst and K series are not that far-off. How will a modern supercar compare?
i'm thinking more next year... if it does come out in the summer thats a testament to how good the beamng team is at making cars
