I'm a Rank 235 on Obeya eu1 {Yotaak} [Cop] and a rank 89 on Joker NA East {Yotaak Desu} [Crim] Both gold.
you realise you've just publicly posted a pirate site? I know they are old video games, but they still aren't legal. Whether or not you use them, I don't care, I have personally used them to source roms in all honesty but only for games I have hard copies of, I don't think it was the best idea to post them here though.
its ashame you dont have battlefield 2 you have to buy it but its dirt cheap but shit tons of mods to play with like telytubbies with paintball guns to project reality....... EDIT: just found out the bf2 servers have been shut down BUT you can still play vs bots offline and to be honest....the bots played better than real players.
Wrong, actually. There are tons of in-game items that you can only get with real cash. 95% are customization items, most specially clothing items/packs: say, the clothing contained in the "Dress To Kill" pack isn't available to be used by a F2P user, since they aren't tradable. ARMAS-only car kits are indirectly available to F2P users, though. And then there are the extra character slots and nick change, which are cash only as well. Oh I'm wasting my time just trying to prove a silly point. >_> Anyway, I highly recommend APB: Reloaded. Been playing it for 2.5 years now and I'm far from getting tired of it. The only thing I should warn you about is the huge amount of performance it needs, although the current developers are working on improving the game's engine, lowering the performance costs and such.
Do you have a Joker character? - - - Updated - - - I meant that you couldn't get anything in the Arma's that gave you an advantage over other non paid players (like weapons and exclusive vehicles etc...). Sure you can get vehicle customization kits and clothing and crap like that by paying only, but that wasn't the point.
Well, that's applicable to the current APB at least. I still remember the days when the OCA 'Whisper' and the HVR 243 'Scout' were OP as hell and ARMAS exclusives. Now they've been nerfed and are also available for F2P players on the Joker Distribution, so yeah, you have a point.
You forgot the main issue with War Thunder, balance is non-existent essentially. Really, I don't think it deserves to be called a simulator. Also, the grind is TERRIBLE. It's essentially pay to progress at a speed that doesn't take you 5 months to unlock 1 thing. Also, the broken MM and BR lowering of Russian planes that are perfectly fine and some actually OP doesn't help. Also, there is a bug that makes it nearly impossible to land the Me-163 and Ki-200 without breaking the wings (don't have them myself, but heard of the bug) that has been reported thousands of times, but it has existed for around 2 years now. Now that I have finished ranting about War Thunder, I will go back to my normally scheduled forums browsing and sleep.
Ya know fellas, I used to be big into TF2 a year ago, had two unusuals [Stainless Pot+Bubble Pipe], a few rare Stranges [Gunslinger etc] but I sold it all and got myself a nice pair of Magura HS33 Raceline MTB brakes, I actually loved the server I played on, but now I have moved on to Garrys Mod, because Metastruct.
I haven't really had any problems with balance. Also, the research grinding isn't too bad. It's more like a week or two (maybe up to a month) to research a plane. The reason the Me-163 and the Ki-200 have landing problems is because that's how it was in real life. Both of them used very unstable rocket fuel, which would explode if the two ingredients weren't mixed just right in the engine. Thus, on landing (which was on a skid), if the bouncing allowed some fuel to contact the other type of fuel, the aircraft would explode. This also happened on takeoff. The only real problems, right now are broken autocannons in aircraft (20mm and 30mm cannons do way too little damage), which is partially fixed now and they're still working on getting it right, and OP turret gunners (a 7.7mm can blow off a wing or kill the pilot in one hit).
The grind is bad without premium and without Golden Eagles, it definitely takes a while for higher tier aircraft, and the bug with the Me-163/Ki-200 is that upon landing it bounces from one wing to another after stopping, breaking the wings off and making it impossible to repair. The fuel explosion due to the fuels mixing isn't simulated in game as far as I know. In terms of balance, I find sometimes I go against aircraft/tanks I can easily kill and sometimes I go against aircraft/tanks that can easily kill me. I honestly haven't played in a while though.
I'm from Fort Wayne Indiana too, well that's weird. -- To stay on topic, my favorite F2P game is Quake Live, it's on Steam and as far as I know theres no microtransactions.
