I still have the 99 GMC, 105,000 miles on it now, still running good. After 3 Northeast PA winters, it’s starting to rot pretty bad. It had very little rust (or so I thought) when I got in in February 2019. Now it’s going to need rockers and cab corners for inspection this year, and probably front fenders, a tailgate and a rear bumper for next year.

A few months ago I bought my grandfathers 02 Silverado. He had it since 2007, and besides the normal Chevy issues, water pump twice, fuel pump, brake lines, fuel lines, and maybe a few other small things, it has been pretty reliable. It had 152,000 on it when I got it, now I have about 158,000 on it. The tranny grenaded exactly a week after I bought it, I found out after the fact that those were one of the worse ones Chevy ever made. I had it rebuilt, and besides the drivers window motor, I haven’t had any other issues.
    The day I got it:

And a project, a 1976 Triumph TR7, which was my dads first car. I’ll post more about that another time. BA78FCEC-5288-4D8A-A8ED-14D8B453D393.jpeg

A little update to my previous post from months ago:

1995 GMC Sierra C1500, has around 150k miles at this point. Original 5.7l v8 and 4l60e.
2" RC suspension lift with 33x12.5 tires on 15x7 AR62 Outlaw II wheels. Still a rock solid truck.

That's a shame. I own one! mine is a '00 that looks almost identical, but it's white. Been around in my family ever since it was new, so it's well-maintained. It's great fun on windy roads, as it's a manual, hydraulic steering of course, and it's really light and agile. But only as long as you go downhill, since it has the 12 valve 1.2 L four banger, which used to make 62 hp when it was new, about 22 years and 200,000 km ago. So uphill can be rather... umm... un-fast, shall we say? Also, it recently started to develop some coolant issues which I need to fix. Still, I love it.
One day when I'll have the cash and the time I'd maybe upgrade it's engine - it's surprisingly reliable for a rather old Renault, but it can struggle to keep up with traffic uphill :/
What engine did yours have in it? Was it the 1.4? I assume it's a higher trim, as your mirrors are body colored ;)

It was a 1.6 and (i believe, could be the previous owner replacing the trim things) a higher trim. The car was already kinda halfway to deaths door, loosing some power every once in a while. The car could be repaired, but after that incident it was too uneconomical to fix and was decleared a write-off.
