Change of plans. There won't be a demo, but will be public version 1.5 pretty soon (likely in January) and 2.0 much later. This is due to the fact that Vapordude has to remake the entire model from scratch because old one is unfixable. And he needed a scratch made Maluch model for the future anyway. So the full version will take a lot more time, but we couldn't delay a demo because of it, so we decided to split the full release into Jbeam rebuild (which is almost ready already anyway) and model rebuild. So basically 1.5 is like the planned demo but not called a demo because demo is supposed to showcase the experience so it would only make sense if it had the new model which it won't.
1.5 will have all of the current progress, + new steering system since current one sucks and is inaccurate to real life, bugfixes, fixed configs (this time for sure accurate), the updated speedo, placeholder models for missing interior parts, and hopefully Stig too if my friend makes the texture on time. Suspension animation won't work the best since the model is all kinds of wrong, but physically it will drive pretty accurately to irl. (Might be a bit too slow currently, waiting for confirmation from TAN, if it really is then I'll fix it for 1.5.) Still not sure if I should keep or remove the configs that are missing important parts from this version (Abarth, banger, Diesel, baja, sport, cabrio sport, widebody, Toxic and Experimental).
2.0 will have everything completely remodelled and likely won't share anything with the oldest version of the mod other than maybe a few textures, and it will also have the engine swaps, derby parts, proper offroad version, crazy parts, new skins, everything that was planned for after demo + more since it will be easier to modify parts that are properly modelled. Most likely BIS model too and maybe some custom bodies and prototype models.
There will be a break between 1.5 and my progress for 2.0 because I'm beginning to feel burned out and I have other mods to work on. But Vapordude will be making the model then so there will be progress from him.

Yep just like Agent said the old model is unfixable. The more i was diving into this model the more painful it was for me to fix and look at. So i decided to use one of my old models and make it for BeamNG. So far its going great and it looks way better and accurate to the irl counterpart. Hope i will get this done as soon as possible.

New recirculating ball steering system that doesn't have any FFB issues. Looks nothing like the 3D model but it somehow still animates properly. It works way more similar to vanilla vehicles now.

Also added some race engine parts (before I had only rally ones because I had no idea what they used for race versions of the car yet): Solid engine mounts, bigger oil pan, carburetor with straighter torque curve than the rally one, transaxle with modified 3rd and 4th gear, and extremely light race flywheel.

Next I need to clean up stuff after redoing the suspension, it will take some time so there might be no progress for a while, unless TAN finishes the interior textures and sends them to me.

SO, this mean that you will not add a double decker body?

IF yes , is it because it's unrealistic?

As for some progress, revamped front suspension is fully functional now and the weight distribution has been adjusted for it, also fixed stuff that had wrong weight, and moved weight from rear interior panels and roof carpet to separate slots to prepare it for the new parts.

I thought in Australia they sold only a rebadged version called FSM Niki with a modified engine and different selection of interior parts, which isn't just a straight up RHD conversion like the ones you showed. But they could have sold both, idk. Not sure if the ones you showed here are Polish or Italian, because 2 of them have Fiat badge instead of Polski Fiat, one doesn't have any badges at all, and the one with interior view has FSM badge but these interior colors were never a thing in Poland (the only export interior colors were cream at first and then later black as far as I know). If these are Italian then MAYBE in a pretty far time in the future when we add Italian configs we can also make these.

Nope, FSM Niki was a full RHD conversion. It can also be clearly seen on DankPods' Garbage Time videos.
Also this variant would be cool to see in the mod, with the painted bumpers, livery and rollback sunroof.

I meant that it was more than just an RHD conversion. Normal RHD version would only have "reversed" steering and dashboard. This also ran on different fuel, had different badges, modifications to the engine, and different trim variants with different interior equipment (not sure what exactly they were).

Finally fixed the Autobello suspension swap, shouldn't have geometry issues anymore but there's some visual clipping now, won't bother fixing it yet as the car is getting remodelled anyway and the normal suspension is now stable enough to use on most racing variants instead

I planned to make a military config, and I know that irl a proper military prototype existed, built in 1989, which had camo, roof rack, mounted gun and tracks instead of rear wheels. But like every config I wanted to make it accurate to real life, but I literally found no images of that thing and no detailed info, I just know it existed. But I can try a camo skin.
