Played the game in Safe Mode for 5 min. The game turn into a slide show. My spec: CPU : INTEL - Core i9-7980XE 18-Core 36-Thread Memory : CORSAIR - Vengeance LPX DDR4 4000MHz 32GB GPU : NVIDIA - GeForce RTX 3090 TI PCI-Express 3.0, 23GB GDDR6
Have you tried updating your drivers ? I run worse specs but it doesn't happen to me, it stays at 55 fps.
There are some kind of massive memory leaks. I can't even finish Nurburgring Challenge because there will be massive hickups and even message "80% of your memory is used" appeared (something that I never had after upgrading from 8 to 16GB of RAM). UI is unresponsive, any digidal dashboard is unresponsive, on every map there will be massive FPS drop regardless if I change UI layout or spawn traffic (but with traffic it will turn unplayable even quicker).
There is a bug that when you set a particular graphics setting you want and hit apply display settings it doesn't save them. Every time I either change maps or leave the game it resets it back to something else. Another bug is when you change parts in the parts config the camera zooms in on a random object and blurs it instead of how it was before the update where the camera would stand next to the vehicle while you change parts or save configs. Can this be fixed?
Playing the latest patch on Linux. Road textures are all black but still showing the reflections. Update - Italy is not affected, I think it's only the PBR maps.
I think so, i was doing some hotlaps (just my car spawned) with the Top Speed Bolide and after 5-10 minutes I had the same problem. I opened the console and said something about missing sound file. Edit: So, tire screeching sound was gone and this error kept popping up. I just played for a while before it happened.
Thank you for getting back at me, I can test it without AI as well. I just had a test now, and I played around with 7 cars (AI) 10 minutes, It worked pretty good, then I hit esc to bring up the preformance graphs, and just hitting the ESC menu made the fps drop to a crawl. but will test without AI now. just have to restart the game
- After the 24.1.1 when looking around with "Orbit" camera it feels stiff or crispy or whatever, just 'rong, it was smoother before - the game crashes after i turn it off - Bolide: front license plates in combination with front bumpers do funky things - Grand Marshall: "Empty" paint design has chrome strips that it shouldn't have - Dynamic reflections on "chromy" things and parts are broken - what's with the spacing in the parts menu?
I'm glad the flashers on the Bastion were fixed, but there's one more issue with the lightbar. If you switch modes, all except "Chase" have issues. If the lightbar is set to "Standard," the entire lightbar flashes when it should be blue, and the entire lightbar is off on red. The lights do not illuminate in the correct order when using either of the directional patterns. (look at this gif^) You can see that the light flares are normal, but the actual light textures are wrong It seems like the blue texture behaviour is mirrored to the red, which causes problems.
I love the Bolide, thank you devs! I think it's a harder to maintain the car sliding without spinning now though. I don't know if it has something to do with the latest changes on the FFB or the car per se. Nothing some more hours of learning how to drive it can cure nonetheless. If I could make a suggestion, I would like the Targa configurations to have exterior sounds on the cockpit. Since it has no roof or windows. Oh, and the windshield looks too dark in the cockpit view.
The rearview mirror on the Bastion is aimed in the wrong direction. There is a bus parked directly behind the Bastion, and it is barely visible.
The Bruckell Bastion steering wheel is missing paddle shifters. While using the gearbox we can see manual and sequential modes but no paddle shifters to make use of the sequential mode.
Did a test with 7 cars on ETK Driving Center, (No AI) Raming into 6 of them, changing parts changing time of day, adjusting settings in the menu, and reseting them all with (SHIFT+R or using R and TAB to reset then one after another) for over an hour. My fps dropped to 30-40 fps. So maybe with all the systems running at ones(Lots of cars, AI, all the menues being used to set up all the cars and their parts) it just drains the fps?
who was the absolute fucking madman on the dev team that decided to make a Toughbook 19 MDT for the Bastion, it's genius!
Are the fun pictures for each hotfix done? I kinda miss those (back when hotfixes were XX.X, not XX.X.X)
In the Bolide, I tore off the rear half of the vehicle and I was still able to rev the engine despite the throttle and engine being in far positions
