Donks handle like crap, I don't see what your issue is Also, the transmission issues were somewhat remedied by uninstalling an old mod - I still feel it needs some refinement but it's at least usable now. The rev-popping issue only happens when a really overpowered engine is used - might be a question of adding some heavier-duty torque converters. They still tend to cruise at unnecessarily high RPM...
My issue is that the wheels wobble like the wheel bearing has grenaded, which is a bug. Mud tires also handle like crap, but I have configs on boggers that I can whip like Ken Block. The handling on these new wheels is inconsistent and broken, plus there's no reason that they shouldn't have the option for stickier rubber (once the issue with wobble is fixed).
One complaint I do have is that the Redtail skin for the Bastion lacks a third color slot - it would be cool if I could get a red, white and blue color scheme because USA USA USA USA USA
I drove 3 different cars in my life till this point (2019 Mazda Cx5, 2020 Seat Ibiza, 2018 Audi A1), and they definitely didn't shake like that...so I don't think it this happens in real life...I really hope they fix that.
It's because of the way tires function in the game. Press ctrl+b and you can see the nodes that touch the ground, and that tires aren't actually round.
The issue is that only nodes interacts with environment and tyres have model based on triangles. So moving slowly point of contact will move from left to right of the tyre. Multiply it by 4 and voila, shake it baby.
The improved bus routes are nice... just wish we had a bit more content for bus vehicles/could use H-Series. Also the passenger requested a stop sign does never lit up appearantly.
Hi all, I have a question - why do the racing cars in the game have such low downforce? The most I've been able to measure is about 600kg at 200km/h (SBR 4 Hillclimb). And on the redesigned civetta bolide (GTR), it's half that. At the same time, in real cars like the Saleen S7 the downforce at that speed is around 1200kg.
The camera goes into the thumbnail position and has to do that everytime a new trim is spawned to take the thumbnail, this is normal.
Hey! As it’s not in the patch, I’ve noticed the camera positioning on the Bolide and Bastion doesn’t look right, especially on thumbnails where they’re completely off centre. I think the default FOV should be a tad higher on the 2, and the camera position needs forward/back tweaked.
If you have a UI element set to "Hide in cockpit" it will show in the cockpit camera if you enter and exit the main/radial/settings menu Fleeing traffic vehicles will stop and put on their hazards and happily exchange insurance information if bumped, despite trying to flee from you (basically makes it so you can't touch the fleeing vehicle in a pursuit otherwise it'll come to a very boring end). Just saying, I feel like the police bastion really shouldn't have the stock speed limiter (200kmph) on it, probably no speed limiter or the Sport speed limiter, since it's pretty much the sport model. Other Feedback unrelated to 0.24 specifically: Fleeing AI will always take the same route where possible, making pursuits for example, in East Coast USA's town, unbelievably boring and predictable, would be better if they would plan a different route each time when fleeing from you.
