I'm working on a music video for the new Bolide, IT LOOKS SO GOOD! Thank you developers! Now, please get some rest!
Hi. Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but the shadows on the new pbr utah look a lot fuzzier than they do on pbr jungle rock island. No idea what could be causing this...
It could be a situation like the Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV, where the car was officially sold in the US starting in the mid-'80s, but still had the bumpers that conformed to the stricter NHTSA regulations. I agree with you for the Pessima, but AWD wouldn't make sense for the Bolide Rally. After all, it's based off of the Lancia 037, the last RWD car to ever win the WRC.
The main brake lights cannot flash in the USA. Tesla is doing this for European market vehicles. The only element that can flash based on FMVSS regulations is the CHMSL (which Tesla may or may not do in the USA; I haven't checked their execution lately and that article was vague), and that's not what the Bastion does. I work for an OEM and lighting differences between Europe, China, and the USA keep many engineers employed ;-)
Color choices are not saving in user configurations for the Bolide. Saving and loading a config just sets everything to white. Works fine on the Bastion.
Looks like dynamic reflections are still broken for me (has been after few patches when new reflections were introduced). I tried everything from deleting mods, cache, appdata folder to reinstall game and update drivers. All chrome elements are black or white and new paintings usually have broken white colour (in shadow they turn black). Happens in every car now. Also there is still issue with purple reflections if resolution is set below 520px W7 GTX 760 i5 3350p
And here I was about to report a bug because the Bastion has red turning signals.... But then they are seriously still using those in the US.... I will add that to the list of reasons why I am not visiting the US.
Strange bug where selecting a time preset and using the increment buttons gives the game a blue tint.
If I didn't select anything; shouldn't the default for an American vehicle be Imperial units and Fahrenheit? I'm not sure why the speedometer would be in MPH and the climate control would be in Celsius as the default for a US vehicle
Haha, didn't know you were talking about the AC, those are just fixed textures, not actual displays that can change or so. I guess someone in the art team is a metric fan.
could be just me could be just driver error but man the bolide is not the perfectly balanced machine it once was. it used to be hands down the best handling car didnt oversteer yet didnt understeer was just perfect. The 350 gt with the thinner rear tires is fine it still has good turn in and is great in the bends just like the original. but the gt 390 and above with the fat rear tires suffer from understeer and its insanely easy to lock up one front tire making them a pain on twisty roads or big braking zones on a trach. the race version is fine im talking about the civillian ones running normal tires. So much rear grip from the fat af rear tires and rear downforce yet the front tires just let go. The turbo 320s are the worst offender of this they are slightly worse than the 390 probably cause of more speed and maybe different aero? in low speed the 390 and 320 are equal in their understeer. at speed the 320 is worse. Have i ever driven a 80s italian super car irl? no so maybe thats realistic. Maybe its cause the bolide is traveling at higher speed than before and thats throwing me off. its just something ive noticed.
The Bruckell Bastian seems to be very unsafe in crashes, as major structural components are compromised at very low speeds. The real life charger which influences the Bastion is a pretty well rated safe car that would not behave that way in an impact.
Headlights seem to cause fps stuttering (before you ask "what are your specs," Ryzen 3900X and GTX 1080 Ti)
When I tried using the thumbnail generator, the camera simply moved to the back of the car and nothing else happened. I tested this on safe mode and the issue still occurs. Also, while trying to make config thumbnails in the parts selector, either the UI doesn't disappear in time or the blurry section behind the UI does not disappear in time for the screenshot to be taken. This is what happens when the run thumbnails button is pressed: The two examples of the UI not disappearing properly:
Awesome updates, loving the new cars and features. I would like to share this video of drifting the Bastion 3.5 RWD. Did anyone test the Saudi drift on this car in development??? It handles amazing. Happy holidays team.
It does, however drive very well. When you drive the Battlehawk "like a hellcat" it feels very similar to the real thing. The Yellow gauges are very hard to read
