Looks as if you will pass me. Unfortunately it will probably be a couple weeks before I get back into the swing of folding again. Hopefully soon :)

My R9 270 is gonna smash your GPU. Then my octa core will come and finish the job. (Just kidding. My GPU is only slightly better than a 7870, like say, Daleks.)

I might start, and I should keep asking to distract you and rocket past yo score.

But seriously, once school starts, I may start then.

Looks like the mating connector for a male IDE connector implemented as contacts on either side of a PCB rather than 2.54mm pitch headers. This was popular in laptops and I did pull a drive from a laptop with an adapter on it to convert from the conventional header pins to the weird PCB setup so I assume there are adapters to go the other way and it must be some sort of mobile IDE connector.
The other connector on that cable is an actual IDE connector.

I hate to ask this, But what if this is just a scam? how are we supposed to know we aren't just using our systems just to mine someone some bitcoins, or help some hacker brute force the pentagon? (Actually that 2nd one is a ridiculous assumption, but still.)

Considering it's run by Stanford University... and has been around for years... and there are huge communities for it... no?

I highly doubt Stanford University would scam us for coin mining.

I blew my chance. This 7970 isn't folding stable. I would RMA but who knows how long gigabyte would take. :\

    Chip or cooling?
If it's cooling, make a custom cooler that uses liquid nitrogen :p
