Update Speculation thread

Just as long as the moderation is less insane. I don't want to wake up one morning and find out I'm banned from everything for putting an alcohol logo on my car.

 

What's the possibility of the update releasing today?

I believe tdev made a post in the forums when that pic first showed up, saying they made minor cosmetic changes to the Bolide for the pic, it wasn't a proper remaster

 

Yeah, it was said that the standards for a remaster had changed since the start of the first Bolide remaster. So it sounds like they scrapped the initial remaster and effectively re-started. Like @gtaman788 said I wouldn't be surprised if its closer to a re-make now. Development history would be cool to see. I always find it interesting seeing the backround ideas and or scrapped ideas in the content of Beam.

 

i could see a big thing of development history coming out when/if 1.0 comes out, just something that showcases scrapped, unfinished, earlier versions, etc of game content kinda like what valve for instance did with some of their games

 

Didn't he say it was remastered to some old standards before they figured out what they wanted to do to remastered cars?

 

I really hope for a V12 to fit the "Lamborghini Countach-niche" type of vehicle.
It would be just a blast.

Hey Mitch, We love your Mount Glorious map for BeamNG, and desperately want to recreate it in our 3D software! I believe we tried contacting you awhile ago, but had no response. After some investigating, we have found you're most active here, so sorry for replying to a thread without actually knowing what it's for.

In regards to the recreating, we really need to know if there is a way to get our hands on the terrain 3D file. (.MAX, .FBX, .OBJ, etc) We would love to hear from you!
