How about a modern British van? could give us something that's built in the UK, A modern European van, and maybe could be under the European arm of Gavril. Gimme a beam trannie van plz.
My speculation is the game maybe going out of alpha with 0.25? I know it's out of the blue but think about it, The game has been in alpha for a lot of years and with the last updates there has been added a fuck ton of game changing content (PBR, new ui, new cars, etc...) Wich could be a very good indicator of it. And also the original list of things they wanted to add to the game is filling up rapidly, and with the last update the "coming soon" under career sounds it might be actually true. also 0.25 is exactly a quarter of 1.0 so i think it would be fitting to switch to beta
good thinking but even if it stays in alpha for 7 more Hell 20 years for all i care. I will love this game. ( i admit am a beamng fanboy )
We don't even have an economy, only got part of the new UI, the trigger system still needs work, PBR conversions aren't finished, some of the oldest cars in game still haven't been remastered... I don't see beta coming in 0.25/0.26
Hehe!! --- Post updated --- ETK could have a Van, since they make two diesel engines, one of which is extremely capable (the 3.0 Inline-6, that is)!
Yes but look at this update: 4 remasters New car New ui 3 maps with PBR support And we don't know if it's even everything yet So it's not that unlikely that they would iron out everything left with the next 1-2 updates and go into the beta phase
It was also a double-update cycle. Assuming the same level of content/features we usually get with the 3 month updates it'll certainly be more than 2 updates to finish up all the alpha stuffs. And that's not even considering if they want to get the more difficult stuff in before alpha (better engine customization, tire flatspots/thermals, anything related to multiplayer, AI improvements, game systems related to racing disciplines other than drag racing and hot lapping, etc...)
BAMNG PLZ COM TO BRAZIL Jokes aside, as far as i know many Brazilian cars actually use older platforms and engines An example of Brazilian BeamNG car might be a 2010s Covet, except it's the 1980s Covet with revised styling (smoother curves, revised exterior, modernized interior) But I'm not an expert on the topic so feel free to correct me
For now i will use the integrated graphics card, i found it a better value than any dedicated one for now. For example it has roughly the same performance as a GT 1030 but it costs like 30$ compared to a non-G cpu. For the bios thing i figured that it says that for every motherboard i choose, if i choose a gen 5 ryzen cpu. The bios will probably support them by the time they were released, all i need is for the motherboard to come in a recent enough bios version.
This is promising, but then again, they need quite a few characters to be able to pull off career mode properly. I think there are a few artist renditions of Anna the Mechanic in the game files, but I would probably expect the actual character files to be in a new folder in the install in the root install, much like the "content" folder. Yeah, that sounds nice! The GT 1030 is what I used in my rig as well, and it provided me with like 50 fps on normal settings. So yeah, it would probably be a good value. I hope it works out well for you!
I can even see a Brazilian version of the 1988 Ibishu Pessima. It reminds me of a VW Santana, or a Chevrolet Monza. And its 1.8 SOHC engine, when turbocharged, reminds me of the iconic "APzaum treskilimei", hahahaha.
I’ve always thought (suggestion) that a British countryside map with some small villages and long motorways would be cool, possibly tied along with a British classic such as something like a Rover P5B
I have a question, that is not very speculative but in my opinion would be an added value to the game. In your opinion, BeamNG will ever get a livery making system in game like the one in Forza Horizon?
qa_stable has been updating a lot these last few days, this may indicate that it's close and that today is viable, but i'm not sure that it means it's coming today although qa_stable updating a lot is a very good sign in general I don't think the hotfix should have any influence if the update were to release today, 0.24.1 is supposed to only add the bastion some other goodies if we are lucky imagining if we were hypothetically the beamng team, would we really have a reason to delay a hotfix until tomorrows release? --- Post updated --- this is always a good sign as well tdev also said they'll need 0.24.0.3 first though
