Update Speculation thread

I can relate, sometimes it's frustratingly difficult to explain a simple concept to someone using words alone, so it's just easier to slap together a physical representation of it.

 

if they're going the stratos route it could mean they're putting in a smaller engine and maybe a smaller car similar to the 308 or the jalpa
seems more 037 to me though

 

I wonder if we'll get a better picture of the new Bolide tomorrow?

 

Bet we get a teaser tomorrow and update on Wednesday or Thursday

 

The update will most likely be out this week so they can fix bugs before the holiday

I do suspect this update will demote the Bolide's intended position from "definitive Italian supercar" to "mildly insane rally homologation special," which makes more sense as it was never really F40 or Countach material. Going off the Lancia 037 we can probably expect a turbocharged 2.0-2.1L I4 making from 265 to 325 hp in race form, or a milder turbocharged 2.0L I4 making 205 hp for the "Stradale" model. Homologation models rarely had more than one engine option.

I don't think the Bolide is going to change as a car. It's probably just a Stratos/037 inspired rally config.

 

I think the Bolide would be an entry level supercar like the 308 and the Jalpa. The 308 had a tiny part in the Group B Scene.

 

I say next teaser will be Bolide. I dont think it will be bastion due to the fact we seen it in blog post and saw it last week.

SO i think it will be a more detailed Bolide photo.


Also i think that the one after that ( teaser ) 22nd will be the last one and the update the 23rd or 24th.


I dont think they will need a few days for bug fixes if this still version 0.24.

They might, But i think its just, Here is a sexy new car and a sexy remaster.

As well as UI fixes for version 0.24. Am sick of my default car being that blue D-series

 

You can change the default car right?

 

You can already change your default car! It is under a few buttons that people commonly overlook, so I get it. To change your default, spawn the car you want and modify it if necessary. Then, hit CTRL+E and select the "Set Default" button in the top right corner. Hope that helps!

 

Unfortunately this is broken right now, if the next update doesn't fix it I will literally fard

Turbo on the Bolide my god. That thing gonna be mean.

Pt 1 was boring ( but lovely ) vans and pessima update.

i really hope the bolide has a pre facelift because cruising around utah or italy in a pantera or countach would be so cool
