Hello and welcome, to what is hopefully a fun series of threads about the BeamNG vehicles & their unique traits which makes them stand out from other in-game cars! Depending on the community reception, there will be more threads like this, especially for upcoming vehicles, like the Bruckell Bastion. To start off, here is some fun facts about the 1996 Pessima: Other than the Gavril V8 diesel, the Pessima is the first vehicle in-game to have (twin) turbochargers on a V-engine For now, it is the only vehicle to feature 1-lug (center) wheel hubs It is the first vehicle to feature 5 exhaust stacks on a V6 engine It also is the only car to feature 3-spoke as well as stanced rims on a config Even though it has hillclimb aero parts, they are not used in any config It is the first car to have equippable sun visors as well as a sun strip on the windshield It has equipable headlight decals which give it a "sleepy eyes" look First vehicle to feature a "Sound Deadening and Accessories" option in the parts menu Possibly unintentionally, it uses the handbrake warning icon for ABS on its dashboard Feel free to share your own fun facts if you have any
Guess I'll add some stuff regarding its police cruiser versions. The "State Trooper" livery is based on the paint scheme of the Virginia State Police It is quite strange for a Japanese car to have what appears to be an American police package, but it's not the first to do this, as the Hirochi Sunburst has had one for years. As a midsize FWD sedan, it may be attempting to imitate the Chevrolet Impala and Lumina based police cruisers of the late 90s-early 2000s. For some reason the unmarked model uses the "Detective Special" nameplate, which has previously been exclusive to Bruckell vehicles (Moonhawk and LeGran) as all other unmarked police cars are simply called "Unmarked". Either there is some strange relationship between Bruckell and Ibishu, or this was just a developer oversight (the latter is far more likely).
The pessima has stickers on every window with a brand and saying AUTOGLAS on it . Also the interior cloth and the Leather Seats are worn out and the radio is named IBISHU BASS+ like BMW did
The side windows and front bumper are dirty, The suspension of the touring version colors with the 3rd color slot, The touring car is probably the best driving car in the game.
The Pessima Taxi config is the only taxi in the game of the company "Yield Cab Co." --- Post updated --- It also is the first car with an actual race interior that is dioffrent from the standard one
Actually the Gavril diesel is also only a single turbo so it's the only twin-turbo v-engine. So the Gavril diesel is the only one with a single turbo, and the Pessima is the only one with twins.
sort of of topic but, what are those orange lines on the rear glass of the pessima? they look like glitched out heating coils.
but the vivace lightweight interior and piccolina ones arent actually full on racing interiors, while the pessima one is plastered with carbon and race switches and all
