This is how I am evaluating this update too. In its current form it feels very incomplete but I want to wait and see what happens with part 2.
It's a new thing, so as always it will take some time until the volumes are balanced properly with the rest of the game. It seems like the devs added some extra wheels on accident. These aren't mentioned in the changelog, don't have textures and are both Civetta wheels. Could these be for the upcoming Bolide remaster?
Keep in mind that these are not necessarily always on (or rotating super fast), electrical ones only turn on when the car is overheating somewhat and the mechanical ones might be drowned in engine noise once they are spinning fast enough to make some noise.
--- Post updated --- Thats why i never losed a word about the Grand Marshal Remaster back then. It was explicitly released as WIP. So lets see what it brings once they finished things up. i certainly look forward to christmas since the Bastion (God, i loooove the devs for make it a modern muscle<3) was the thing i anticipated most. And in the meantime there is enough new stuff to mess around with!
Are we forgetting the devs worked on an entirely new car? I guess it was too much to release in one update and decided to release the remasters today to then focus more on the new car (and potentially the ETK DEC remaster) By the way, i don't get why people are so angry with the new UI, yes the old one was fine but this one is also fine, apart from the app bugs which will be fixed soon
--- Post updated --- The only thing i really could complain is that i was almost sure there finally will be an official RV variant. But thats the only thing i really COULD complain.
not sure why people are dissapointed with the update, I think its great. A delay on the new car is a bit annoying, but its not all that bad.
If this were Reddit, I would be downvoted AF, but what about a simplified taillights design for the new Bastion? Edit: as a choice, of course.
I guess some people are disappointed because they havent fully understand that this isnt the full update and the second part is yet to come. But i can understand both sides. It was a good update so far but we can only conclude on it once its finished in a couple of weeks. What we got by now is by any means great work as usual. Even tho im a tad bit disappointed by the lacking RV variant of the van!!111
If there were gonna be multiple taillight sets I’d imagine it would be more Vivace style. Not gonna lie I kinda dig it…

Yes yes yes, much more appealing than the current lights, they are waaaay to finicky atm. Your design is lovely.
Yeah, if ATS can do it, so can BeamNG. Is it that hard to code the halogen lights to fade out and fade in?
