Update Speculation thread

alot of us, there are huge issues with the ui making the game extremely fustrating. Along with a small amount of content for the amount of time, (5+ months)

 

I agree with your sentiments on the UI, it's driving me insane too. However, I do think the content issues are going to be ironed out around Christmas (Bastion, ETK DEC, maybe more?)

 

has no-one noticed the fact the the mystery car is nolonger a mystery? its called the Bruckel Bastion...

 

Hopefully, personally, especially with all the issues experienced, they should have just waited on the update and released it all nearer christmas, which would have made everyone much more happy

If the German and Polish localization means the map rework of ETK map, then I can't wait for the road quality contrast between those two countries.

Both statements of yours couldn´t be more on point.
I was so hyped for this update but yeah of course..
They kept the one thing i really looked forward to aside to release it later.
Btw, did really NOBODY mention the lack of an H-Series RV?
This is literally the first update im a bit unhappy with but the chance was high because they promised big and almost every time a developer does that is fires backwards.
Not even the Beamteam is safe from that.
It was certainly a good update.
But, it just wasnt what we got promised 5 months ago.
lets just hope the teased christmas content update in 2-3 weeks makes up for that since the Bruckell Bastion just looks like power but they really have to deliver what they promised months ago

 

Personally digging the look of that new Bruckell. Very noice

 

Just to clarify, does the devblog mean that the Bruckell is coming in a hot fix or in 0.25?

 

From what i got out of that i think there will be some sort of a "Part 2" of this update which will deliver the content promised months ago around christmas.
Dont pin me up on that its just my interpretation of that statement

 

also is the “support for cooling fans” meaning that they added cooling fan sounds

 

I thought so but couldnt find any.
Maybe my ears couldnt catch the noise but from what i heard there is no such sound ingame right now.
Could be a bug tho.

I really hope the Bastion has a special Flatplane V8.
I can´t wait to hit the juice on that one!

 

I think the 3 months Update cycle is better. Just because of the fact that the pressure is too high after 6 months. And if it is not a PERFECT update then, peaople get disappointed. I quite like the Update and if they deliver to christmas a Car and a Map remaster of ETK center, this Update now will basically be a 2.5 months delayed Autumn release. So the 2 remasters and PBR maps are the Big features for Autumn and the Bastion + ETK center for Winter. that would have kept the disappointments away. But anyways: The devs worked hard to fix essential problems here. And it is sad and demotivating if you get hated for your great work. We should look forward to the Christmas content and hope they learn from the 6-months fail and go crazy in the next Updates! Thx for your great game Devs!

 

Yeah agreed.
I dont complain about the update its obviously quality content as usual.
It was just not a good idea to rev everyone up with the longer update cycle and then keep the key feature (the car) away. From what it looked its finished.
Lets wait the two more-ish weeks to the "2nd part" of the update and take a closer look on the content there to evaluate the winter update when it is complete

Yeah I imagine we’re getting a second update in a few weeks. That’ll have the Bruckell and probably some other stuff.
