Thanks for the awesome update! So far I cannot get the vulkan mode to work. It gets stuck (not responding) at the end of the loading screen, sometimes I even hear the engine but nothing loads. Using RTX2070 max-q with Diver 496.76
performance on AMD GPUs is still not very good i will admit i have been tinkering with settings while playing the new update so it may just be on my end but i think it's actually gotten worse since 0.23? i went from 55ish fps average on JRI to 45-50 on low-medium settings running an R5-2600X, 16GB RAM and an RX 570 8GB btw which is well within recommended requirements
it's annoying because you used to be able to have multiple controller bindings on the same button and the game would just handle it (like i had A to zoom out camera and accept event and if i drove over the drag race A would just work to accept and zoom out would be disabled, but it seems like that isnt allowed anymore)
oh yeah the GPU usage too, it ranges from 65% on low-medium to 85% on ultra i'm fairly sure it's a resource usage issue given if it only needed 60% i think i'd be getting much better performance than 50fps
Yeah devs, don't listen to people complaining about the new UI. It is better for sure, the only problem currently is that we haven't got used to it yet.
The Pessima touring car lacks brakes. The car does not stop, no matter how hard you hold the brake pedal/trigger/key.
I haven't initiated the download yet but this is automatically my favorite update thanks to the Pessima renovation. Thank you so much. The PBR is great, too. The fresnel on the roads looks hella amazing. New UI looks promising as well. Just hope I'll actually be able to run the Vulkan version this time. You know what, to show my support, I've decided to buy the game again. Previously it was on my mother's account because in 2014 I didn't have a Steam account, but I've had one for a while and I've been meaning to purchase the game for my library anyway rather than inheriting the game from a shared library.
