Update Speculation thread

I do agree with this. ETK 800 and K series have very sensitive wheel suspensions and also driveshaft. The driveshaft pops very often.
I love both of these cars, but these two things are their biggest downside.

 

I'm gonna make a bold claim here. I will legitimately buy the first person to like this post the ultimate edition of FH5, or game of choice max 80$ CAD, on steam if, the update doesn't release within the next 14 days.

I'm pretty certain it'll be out within 14 days... If not... Rip

 

I am thinking the update is either coming next week or with few days. It's foolish to assume the update would even come out today. It's a Thursday

 

Honestly, the fact that you are doing this says a lot about this forum in general. I speculate it will be a "Christmas" update, so it will probably drop the week before Christmas so they can have a nice Christmas break.

 

Yeah id assume a relez around Dec 21 this year.

Damn, we are already starting to repeat stuff, im sensing the closure of this thread couple days ago wouldn't be the last one

 

I mean I like to think of this but if there are any bugs near Christmas and the devs are on break for Christmas. the game might be a little broken so it should be earlier so they can get all the bugs figured out. I believe personally that it will come out before the new Year. December 21 seems too late to release only 4 days to figure out bugs with a huge update like these.

 

Yes, i fully agree on that.
My guess is that we either receive it the next two weeks or in january.
Everything else would be completely impossible to react with hotfixes since christmas holidays are near

Today is sadly unlikely, They just sanctioned a mod that modifys the H Series which they wouldnt do if it breaks 3 hours later

 

im guessing that the H series will also get a 3 generations similar to the D series..

Let's put some thought into it, before saying "tomorrow" aimlessly - beta testing phase should be ongoing for several weeks now, with the release being imminent, and possibly released within two weeks. Previous winter update got released at 15th of December, which is about a week + a couple of days until the holiday season. Logically, they will try to keep as much time as possible left for problem-solving if major issues occur once it is released, and that can be seen with 0.21 release that got updates at 18th and 21st before Christmas and New Year's Eve. Other update only came two weeks after New Year.

Of course, it is all speculation, as anything can cause the update to get postponed for 2022, therefore, we should be patient and keep in mind that we are pretty close.

I honestly see it coming in the next week or so because, as it's a larger update, it will probably need more time in the hotfixing phase after release, and I'm sure the devs would rather get that over with sooner rather than over the holidays.

 

It would be hilarious if the devs just dropped the final countdown randomly that would create ultimate chaos

OT: I wonder if we will have different engine sounds or possibly different engine choices I haven't heard anyone talk about the h series possible engine choices and since the van might be heavier so it makes sense to have different engines and a chevy express(2007) witch I think relates to the h series remastered had 5 engine choices.
