Guys, do you have any problems because when update got approved today the mod size misteriously cut in half to 9.8mb?

 

im not having any issues on my end.

 

If you're wondering about/wanting more info on the gran coupe - I'm waiting for my friend Bekwennn to return home (maybe second half of december) and from there we will continue working on it, there are things that i can't do alone and need help with.
Since my first try modifying the unibody of a BeamNG car I learned a lot of things and want to apply them to gran coupe, make it better this time. So this one is going to take more time compared to sedan. Here are some pics incase you forgot how it looks

Feel free to suggest what i can refine more. As for 3d model, it's very close to 100% done

 

Alright, shorten the lip on the trunk area.

 

Remember that gran coupes have hatches, not trunks.


I would also suggest changing up the gran coupe design a bit in the back to make it more interesting. All it is now is a 800 series sedan with a slight lift in the rear (which has been done about 5 times now)

 

This part was only slightly adjusted from vanilla and the above screenshots were taken with edge split modifier that i only used to make them look cleaner, it emphasises curves and sharpens edges. This is without it:

@P_enta can you give some kind of car as an example of how i can change the design more?

 

Well I posted a 6 series gran coupe there for some inspiration. I would just really emphasize the taperedness of the rear with some long horizontal features. I wouldn't do this for the sedan though, only the gran coupe.

 

This is BMW 6 Series GT, mine is based on 4 Series gran coupe F36 which is different style body

Only thing really being different shape wise is the hatch lip on the bmw is more pronounced. I modeled it as close as i could to the blueprint

Looks like the trunk lip is missing from the part list. Was this removed?

 

Did you download ETK 800 Tuner Add-ons?

 

I think he didn't

 

Yeah. I can see every part in that pack except for the spoilers.

Maybe it's a cache issue. I'll try clearing that later today.

Edit: Yeah, that was it. Strange how everything else worked except for the spoiler.
