Hello guys. It's been a while, but I am back! This time I am redoing my Crown Victoria model. I am calling it the second gen Crown Victoria because every year after 1997 pretty much looks the same, however I plan to do the first gen Crown Victorias too as I used to own one. Anyways Here is my progress down below. As you can see I already have a nice base mesh already. I don't plan to make this a mod since I don't want to be too ambitious, but it's still a possibility. I'm going to finish the model first. Feel free to ask any questions, critique my work, or just have a conversation about the project in general. Thanks for checking out!
You are correct. 1st gen years are 1992 - 1997. 2nd gen is 1998 - 2011. The 2nd gen did receive some small updates over the years, but they were minor interior changes and suspension/steering upgrades.
I miss my 97. Technically I still own it, but it didn't pass smog so I couldn't bring it with me for my move. Maybe I'll get it back someday when I actually have space to work on it.
Feeling a bit insecure about my trim topology. I heavily referenced the Grand Marshal and added my own touches to it to make it look more rounded on the corners. I don't know if I am being too generous with the triangles but I guess it looks okay, but I need another set of eyes, critiques highly encouraged.
Hi, and welcome to the forums. What you’ve done by posting your comment is called “bumping”, and it is replying to a thread that has not been active for quite a while with a message that has very little if any constructive purpose. It is generally not appreciated by the members of the forum, as it typically provides no value to a conversation or thread and it also displays the thread at the top of the section, leading users who’ve never seen this thread before to believe that it is an active thread and further clog up the forums. This behavior can be avoided by heeding the warning given in the big red warning message above the text box. Thanks, and have a nice day.
