Alright this thread is pretty old but..
Soliad is the luxury marquee for Bruckell, huh? In that case I would love to see perhaps a modern midsized / large SUV or a fullsized sedan released under the Soliad name. Would be a nice addition to the ever-expanding list of cars in BeamNG

    And a 2-seater ultra-luxury soft-top roadster too!!
    --- Post updated ---
Have you noticed that the Wendover has no High Mounted Stop Light? That's weird, especially for a car produced from 1987 to 1995, because the Bruckell LeGran has it!
Also, I'd love to see the Wendover as an official 4-seater soft-top convertible, the lines of the coupe body would look really nice in a convertible form!

I think the idea is that the CHMSL duty is covered by the existence of the centre taillight bar (even though regulations wouldn't actually allow it)

Yeah, the taillight bar is large enough to be clearly seen but the reason I'm talking about the CHMSL is because the taillight bar's brighter "Brake mode" sometimes isn't clearly visible and told apart from the normal "Taillight mode", so the CHMSL could help with this.

Funny that you mention that, since the old concept list had a "Soliad Palisade". Gabe must have terrible luck when it comes to naming cars (or amazing luck, depending on how you look at it) because a similar thing happened with the Bolide.

Tbh, I had thought of a similar idea but for the Gavril Roamer: a Burnside Full-Size Luxury SUV!
As for Soliad, yes, a large SUV called the 'Soliad Palisade' would be great but there are two things to take into account here:

    1. The Soliad Palisade was part of the list devs have told us numerous times to not take seriously and base our expectations on it.
    2. The 'Palisade' nameplate is already used by Hyundai.

A Soliad Full-Size Luxury Sedan would also be great competition for the Gavril Grand Marshal (and its hypothetical luxury twin from Burnside), since it can be based on an even larger version of the Wendover's Full-Size FWD platform - and the game hasn't had a Sedan like this since ever!
I actually made a suggestion in the "Vehicle Suggestions" thread and I found a name for it too: Soliad Senator! ;)

I highly doubt it. The Civetta Bolide is one of the cornerstones of BeamNG. It's among the first cars to ever exist in the game, with the others being the D-Series, the Grand Marshal and the Covet. And it's been around long before the Bugatti Bolide. Besides, there's absolutely no comparison between an 80s Supercar and a 2020 Hypercar.
Plus, the word "Bolide" is pronounced differently in each language (Italian, French and English)!

Technically they even got it before bugatti, so if they copyrighted it they would've been able to copyright strike bugatti. Obviously the devs didn't copyright something as simple as the word Bolide.

Since we're talking about a game with fictional brands and brand names, the Devs could copyright them because we're talking about products of their own inspiration.
If Bugatti did something like that for the Civetta Bolide, I believe this would be a case of retrospective copyright, like what some companies in YouTube do, by purchasing free music and applying copyright notices on every video using that music, which was 100% free before that.

I wouldn't put it out of the question, we did get the Hopper after all. The only difference between it and the other list of cars is that none of them were actually promised. If the devs feel like one of the cars from the list is needed theres nothing stopping them from adding it. Just don't expect it.
    --- Post updated ---
No. Unless they renamed it to the "Bugatti Bolide" there's nothing Bugatti can do. Bolide is a word, you can't copyright it. "Civetta Bolide" and "Bugatti Bolide" are names.

    Hadn't noticed the Hopper, tbh!
Yeah, it's definitely better to not expect something than wanting (and desperately so) to see it in the game for months, if not years.
You're also right about the Bolide because words have multiple meanings that each person may translate differently.

Noticed some irregularities with the installation of the Locking Torque Converter amongst the Wendover S and SE variants and, also, with the Suspension Components amongst the Wendover Sport S and Sport SE ones. I'll be making a list of the variants for each of the aforementioned components and writing the mistakes in bold and italicized script.

I know that I mentioned this in the 0.22 update discussion thread back when the Wendover was first released, but could we get an official Powerglow version of the Wendover? We don't have any FWD Powerglow cars yet, and it turns out that certain higher-tier Wendovers have no problem tackling the curves.

I know that the mode isn't used as often as some others, but Glow City looks so cool from behind the Wendover's digidash.

No, he meant that it’s funny because the palisade came out after that list, so Gabester predicted it and the bolide.
