It was said a long time ago to get a Gavril V8 swap in the future

Hopper and 200BX are out of the question because we're talking about a large V6, possibly larger than 4 liters. The Hopper is out because it would be chronologically unrealistic to have a V6 while its most obvious material of inspiration had an Inline-6 at that time period.
The 200BX is also out because there's no point in a small sports car to mount a large, low-revving V6 engine like this (only a V8, haha :p)!
But, mainly, both these cars are out simply because they're Ibishus. Ibishu isn't famous for making large, low-revving V6s!
I mean, Ibishu could make such an engine but it would make much more sense to mount it in a large car (say a Midsize SUV/Pick-Up) than in a small one (say a 200BX kinda car).

Speaking of the 200bx, what do you people have on your wishlist for its eventual remaster? I kind of want a targa top version, a JZ or RB inspired I6, a headlight controller (like some aftermarket miatas have, that allows winks and sleepy eyes) and a BRAP BRAP ROTARY!

I think it's got enough engines, more aftermarket parts for them or the rest would be cool. Also an headlight controller would be very cool.

I think an Inline-6 engine would be amazing!
As for a rotary, no. A 2-seater sports car would be better for this than a cheap basic 4-seater car like the 200BX.

"Enough engines" while the only option is the 2.0 DOHC Inline-4. Yeah, right! :p
I mean, it could have more engine choices!

Fair enough, i mean they said they were gonna V8 swap it at one point, and a bigger version of this 4-cylinder could be nice, like a 2.2-2.5.

Ok, fair enough. Yeah, I know about the V8 swap but we have no idea if it's gonna be for real.
Anyway, if they are gonna put a 2.5, better be an Inline-6, in my opinion! We already have many Inline-4s across BeamNG cars, there's no need for one more (with that said, a 2.0 liter Inline-4 would make sense as a base engine for the I-Series, since we already have the "2000" trunk badge in the Parts Selector)! ;)
And the 2.2 doesn't make sense since there's the 2.0. If anything, a certain distance between the engine displacements must be kept.

    Ok here are my guesses
    - new 1.8 for the Base and Type-L
    - current 2.0 for the Type-LS and Track
    - new 2.6 straight six for a new GTz and Demon
    - Gavril V8 for the Drag and Drift configs

Great suggestions, simple and logical! ;)
Apart from the GTz and Demon versions, the 2.6 Inline-6 could also equip the Track and Drift versions. The latter two versions could be duplicated, with only the engines (2.6 Twin-Turbocharged Inline-6 and 6.9 V8, preferably), livery colours and the accompanying suspension settings setting them apart!

    How to summon 0.24 :

    1)

    Open your computer

    2)

    Open Beamng

    3)

Listen to "The final countdown" until the update pops out, while you're doing some vancakes

Hopefully the boys n girls at beam getting it rigged until the start of december otherwise if simply have no choice as to undertake the 300km from Düsseldorf to Bremen to fetch em some drinks and snacks to work even faster on the update.
Thank me later for the early update release.

The Holden Commodore was originally just a heavily modified German sedan (sorta in a similar market to the BMW 5 series).
Really GM should have just turned the Commodore into a world car in the 90's. Maybe we would still have them right now if they put a larger focus on the European market.

"The VB Commodore was loosely based on the 1977 Opel Rekord E bodyshell but with the front grafted on from the Opel Senator to accommodate the larger Holden six-cylinder and V8 engines, giving it a similar appearance to the Opel Commodore, the Vauxhall Viceroy, sold in the UK and the Chevrolet Commodore, sold in South Africa. Overall, the body was strengthened substantially to withstand the harsh conditions of the Australian outback. Total cost of development is reported to be over A$110 million."

I don't know, the Track version already has plenty of power, it doesn't need a heavy straight six in it, while V8 engines are fairly popular in drifting so that wouldn't be unrealistic, but you're not wrong on that, the 2.6 would be just as good in the Drift version

With the 2.6 and 1.8 it would have to be 180BX and 260BX. Why not leave the 200BX with 4s (a la nissan S-chassis), with the 6 for a more fairlady style car.

    I agree with that
If we were to get a fairlady style car, I’d prefer an S30 for no apparent reason.
