257mm long, 190mm wide Miramar suitable for any chassis of the same size. What you do from here is 3D print it and vacuum form the body
Did you just take the Miramar model and resize it? Or was there more done to it? Doesn't seem like there was, you left the shading issues from the original
Basically, I just took everything from the original game that I want to use, now I am patching up all of the grilles to make it be 3D printable. I don’t have too much knowledge in this, the only other thing I have made in Blender is an open top I Series which is mostly finished.
I don't think he just resized the model. In order to be able to print a 3d model, it has to be manifold. If you don't know what this means, let's take a cube that's like 0.000000...0000001 cm thin and a plane. The slicer won't be able to slice correctly the plane, but it will be able to slice the cube. Why ? Because the cube is manifold, or sealed, meaning it is completely closed, compared to a plane wich basically has only one side, wich is impossible in real life. For video game's 3d models, it is often a pain to print them as they are non-manifold, meaning you have duplicated vertices, or faces aren't facing the correct direction. Then you have to apply a thickness modifier to the model, or else it's just a plane shaped like a car with no thickness.
