Consistent hitboxes for map objects. Please. Objects of the same type should or should not have collision, but no weird mix like we currently have. For instance, park benches on Italy can be driven through, but driving through a park bench on East Coast is impossible. The same can be said for signs, most can be driven through, but some (namely many bus stops) stop your car like hitting a brick wall.
As a fan of driving in night, I find lack of dashboard lighting annoying. Lights in cars could be more realistic, also the fact that you can't switch from high beams to low without turning lights off for a second is just bad. Also, I'd love all vanilla cars to have license plate lights, like the Sunburst. It's not a hard thing to do, why all cars don't have them? Talking about night, ability to turn on lights on maps would be superb.
Being able to freeze physics when switching out parts on your car. I don't know exactly how easily this is done, but having the car reload for every single part you switch gets old.
Probably a bit ambitious, but JBeamed objects on a map. Like EruptionTyphlosion said, some items you can drive through, while others you can't. I just wish SOME objects were deformable. To put it simply, if I hit a bus stop at 100 MPH in a semi-truck, I don't want it to stay where it is and destroy my car, I want it to be demolished.
You can already do that, there's a button in the part customisation screen that lets you turn off automatically reloading the car whenever you change a part
saw this posted on the subreddit a while back, i still think it's something that we should add (also exhausts for all cars that have them instead of just the t series)
Some good QoL suggestions in this thread, but also lots of general feature requests that aren't related to QoL. Being able to see parts before selecting them is a big one for me, especially for wheels. Ideally the game will have a proper vehicle customisation menu that's more visually intuitive in due time. I never knew I needed @CatAstrophe05 's suggestion until I saw it. I hope that one gets sorted soon.
Rain that affects grip, adds sounds and you can see it on vehicle (also ties into aforementioned working windshield wipers)
There should also be one that is squared like the t-series but with the engine in the back for the bus.
I would be really happy if it were just the wheels - there is so many of them in game that trying to remember how every rim looks like starts to become tedious after a while, especially with rims that aren't used as often
i wish for simple stuff like being able to change audio output without having to restart the game. cant think of anything else right now lmao.
