I would suggest an idea for the tiny ETK Experience Center. Rename it as Germany To make it as big as the Italy Map (4092x4092) or bigger like (8092x8092) and put some typically german houses and towers in some citys. The ETK Center should be in the middle of the map and a "Autobahn" should be made on the outer area of the map. With the same irritating exits as in RL germany. Also the "Autobahn" should get one or two pull-in's with a car-parking lot, truck-parking lot and of course a big Gasstation.
Man, I love this suggestion! Could I suggest an "AutobahnPolizei Station"? And some houses like little cities?
Yeah actually a Autobahn-Polizei would be very nice for a bit of roleplay. One thing that shouldn't get missed is a working speedtrap on some areas like the "Schnellstrasse" or in the villages and towns. Also for villages i would place some "Lärmschutz" (Noiseprotection) zones in villages which are mainly 30km/h zones
They can add some hitboxes to some trees, as some trees dont have any hitbox, cars just go thru them..
Great suggestion! I hope they'll turn it into a typical German map, with the old german city centers with buildings. And an Autobahn with a few "ausfahrts" would be great. image found on: https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/most-beautiful-cities-in-germany.html Ps: While being at it, maybe make a more german/european version of the K-Series, with non-us taillights: https://www.beamng.com/threads/ambe...erican-cars-like-k-series-and-sunburst.81451/
Here we go again. I'll just quote my posts below about that great idea (for better context you can click that small arrow next to quotes). Spoiler: Importante
Well, I have read your opinion about that and need to add, that the ETK-EC is, for todays capabilitys of the game kinda outdated in terms of map displacement and possibilities. But of course a ETK-EC in a Germany map would take a lot of usable place away, making the rest a bit iffy to manage in place management and could look the rest a bit messed together. But never the less it is a possibility to do. Maybe it could be done, that ETK-EC stays a standalone and they making a Germany map without the ETK-EC. Big maps are nice for cruising around and supports many possibilities for like roleplaying, or campaigns. Sure loading times are a thing but that depends on hardware. With a M.2 SSD loading times rarely exceed 20 sek. and every player knows that BeamNG is a very hardware depending game. If you buy this game it's sure you will encounter some issues like loading times that are going like to moon or not perfect maps like WCUSA or ETK-EC it's not a joke that this is a early access game. But to stay on the topic, this is still just a suggestion and a lil' dream from my side that i suggested, cause this game has its roots in germany (Bremen) and for that it's just a bit less shown. (Off-Topic WCUSA) Yes the WCUSA looks kinda "rushed" (for a official map) in terms of details, like visible gaps in houses and open holes in the city plus the AI roads. But you need to agree that the map is 4-5 Years older than for example Italy, which is now (in my opinion) the most detailed and most belovable map in BeamNG History. While WCUSA need's a revamp from the ground due to kinda stupid AI roads and missing details. Sure the little "expansion" was nice but the map is still a little pile of a mess. But i believe that the BeamNG mapmakers are now that experienced and professional to get that one time to work. --- Post updated --- Yeah actually there are no real EU legal cars in BeamNG cause either the indicators lighting up (illegal in EU on headlights and taillights) the indicators behind are red (as i know only legal in swiss on US imports) or the rear foglight is missing which is mandatory in EU. (Last thing is on not even one official BeamNG car as i know.) Also most cars are missing the feature, the ETK's has: Chooseable gauges.
Edit: oh well, just saw that you replied to my thread. After the map is released, there might be more updates where smaller cities and smaller airfields are included.
This is my whole point that a lot of people don't understand unfortunately. That idea of "map having purpose". I like ECUSA because of freeroam. I like Hirochi Raceway because it is just a race track for... racing. While I also agree ETKEC need some changes it should remain purely as ETK Driving Experience Center.
