It could very well be a pre-facelift model as the headlights look to be a slightly older design. I guess we'll see in the coming weeks.

It might have, since it seems to be some sort of touring car. Unlike some other types of racing such as GT, in many touring car championships four-wheel drive is OK. However, so is front-wheel drive, so IDK.

Hard to see this Pessima being out of the rally picture, considering we already have some stranger rally versions of certain American cars. Who's to say "no"?

Not exactly far fetched, this literally looks like a Pessima

It looks like it is a Super Touring car, and AWD wasn't allowed with those regulations. It could get it anyway, just not for that configuration IMO.

Is that a Hyundai Accent? If that's the case then:
    Front? Yeah, close.
Rear? Nope. Pessima's a sedan back, that Accent's a hatchback (liftback).

It's not well known, but there were actually two versions of the body in Accent.

Elantra. I've always thought the Pessima looked more like an Elantra than any other car its compared to.

it kind of feels more like a Ford Taurus to me, mostly just the body type, not at all with the lights.

taurus too fat, more like a ford contour... in accord form
really hard to pinpoint it, due to the devs taking design cues from every car in the segment

You can easily do that on your own with the available parts and tuning options, something a lot of people seem to be against doing in these forums...

I'm pretty excited for the Pessima Remaster, since it seems like from the beginning it's been quite lackluster. Even the '89 Pessima has passed it in content overall, which is understandable who doesn't like a fast box?

The '96 Pessima is one my of favorite cars in the game, only thing holding it back was the lack of content for it. Thankfully it looks like we'll get more stuff to it (finally) that ISN'T just an Underground player's wet dream OR the average family sedan of the 1990's. I cannot wait to throw it around tracks all over!

You just made me excited for a car I always thought was ugly ngl. I cant wait to change my mind :p I enjoy smashing it into the back of a heavy duty D-series and making a hit and run police chase out of it. Fun thing to do

With some very long hours tuning the suspension and gutting the car, I've been able to make it a surprisingly quick trackday sleeper without mod parts. It's on off-pace by a few tenths of a second from an otherwise stock mid-level Sunburst with similar tires. The new touring car parts will be fun to tune and play around with.

I, personally, prefer the handling from the Pessima, compared to the Sunburst. It fells way less top heavy. The Sunburst with wide slick tires is really easy to rollover, or at least lifting one or more wheels from the ground on corners.

Yeah Sunburst is more top heavy but imo it still handles better despite that, idk maybe it has sportier suspension or something

Maybe the AWD helps with that. But with racing suspension and tires, the Pessima can endure lots of abuse before rolling or bending a wheel (the main problem with the Sunburst).
