So you have or just bought Logitech wheel (G29, G920) and you want the best FFB settings for driving or drifting? You come to the right place. First do you know anything about Response Correction Curve? The last thing in FFB settings in the game. ""Force feedback works by asking the steering wheel drivers to apply certain torque (certain rotational force) through the motors housed inside your steering wheel. In an ideal world, the resulting torques would be proportional to the torques you initially requested. However, in practice, this is rarely the case. Sometimes, when you ask 1 unit of torque, you may get 1.2 resulting units of torque. And then you ask for 2 units, but get only 1.9 units back. The result can vary wildly along the range of torques, and is impossible to know without testing each of all the possible torque values."" (You can find this doc on Beamng.drive Wiki here (Scrool down to "Response correction curves") Here is what you need to do: (look at "Attached Files" for download) 1. Mount and Plug the wheel. It must me good mounted. 2. Run WheelCheck.exe 3. Set up Max Count and Step Time to 500. (You can leave it default or change to what you want. 4. At "Spring Force" drop select "Step Log 2 (linear force test)" 5. DON'T touch the wheel!! You started the test and it needs time to actully start. After like minut it will start moving. 6. When it stop moving that means it is finish. 7. Now open LUTGenerator.exe and find your "log2.csv" in My Document. 8. Name it "wheel.lut" and save it in: "C:\Users\"UserName"\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\"latest version"\settings\inputmaps\wheel.lut" (Or open BeamNG launcher and press "Manage User Folder" then "Open in Explorer" for quick way to your user data) 9. Now open game, go to FFB settings and check "Use Response correction curves" and you load your file with CTRL+L. Press Apply and reopen the FFB settings and you will see your curve. 10. Test drive it! Also very imported, put Linearity on throttle for more realistic throttle response. Put it like 1.4 or more. And for more precise clutch engagement : And put 1:1 behaviour "Faster if needed" (because driving bus or a truck have much more wheel turn (1080°) then Logitech wheel have (900°)) And for my G29 I setup my FFB Strenght to 380, Smoothing to 100 and Side Accel Feedback for driving set to 10%. (for more feel of the tire grip limits) Side Accel Feedback for drifting set to 0%. (found it out this is better for drifting) But you can tune however you want. Note for someone who have problems with G-HUB. Install "Logitech Gaming Software 9.02.65". Older program but work perfectly. One more note. If is hard to steer on some vehicles just put power steering on it. IRL most modern vehicles have power steering because of big wheels. Or in FFB settings enable "Reduce strenght while parked" Please comment is this helps you, did it get any better with LUT? Did it get any better feel of a controll on a vehicle? Agree 100% on using a non-linear throttle (and brake and clutch), using 1.5 - 2 for a few years and it makea a massive difference. Good thing instructing ppl on the correction curve too.

May I ask why are using deadzone? The first picture is from beamng wiki. Here is my curve and it work perfectly for me: And this must be on Default Logitech Gaming Software 9.02.65

Okey I been looking why is a deadzone for you guys and not for me. It's because I am using .lut file. I updated the tutorial with LUT Generator so download once again WheelCheck.zip and there will be LUT generator. Read the steps once more.
I know this is a bump, but how do I fix the brake pedal? Ive removed the stupid rubber garbage from the pedal so I can push it down more than 20% of the way, but after pushing it 50% down it jumps to 100% braking force. Custom pedal curves are seriously needed.
P_enta, ive adjusted my deadzone in the end of the curve, shortened the pickup area so to speak. Its in the settings for the brake. ANOTHER THING ID LIKE SOMEONE ELSE TO TRY: Increase the g-force (the g-forces that impact the driver) which is capped at a max of 20% in the FFB settings. Ive increased that manually and since update 0.24 im actually running 200% (100% might be enough for thers, its a matter if taste i guess). This, for me, tightens up the behaviour of the ffb and also tightens up the steering around 0° rotation. Before i did this i always thought the wheel was kinda loose and dead around center, agreeing with Ermin Hamidovic about that in his 0.24 YT-vid. My settings on my G920 is now: Strength 700 Smoothing 20 G-forces 200% Now, this might cause other issues that im not aware of but it makes driving with a wheel much more predictable, improves my track times and drifting 'skill'. The way to increse it is to open the input file in the users BeamNG folder (in subfolder Settings, subfolder Inputmaps... i think... and then the file with a weird name). Youll find 'g-force' somewhere in the beginning, at a value of 0 - 0.20 (0.20 being 20%) so ive set that to 2. IF you dont like this then you can just click the value ingame and itll reset. Would someone be able to test this and see if they feel the same?
The actual solution to my problem is this cable that fixes the signal from the brake so that the last 25% of the pedal isn't so grabby. https://www.ricmotech.com/bodnar-cable-logitech-pedals Im also going to get a load cell mod for the brake so its not so garbage. Im probably going to open it up and put some sound deadening in there, it feels 100 times better to drive though. I mean its loud as in hearing. It makes a ton of noise and racket I can hear it through my headphones with music blasting
I think something messed up my response curve, and in the Steering Wheel Setup it says it's usually the same curve for given brand and model of the steering wheel. Can I have yours?
