I can still imagine that CPU will matter MUCH more than GPU in BeamNG. I bet you could still run it perfectly fine on an old GTX260 as long as you have a decent CPU.

The highest settings are quite taxing (low works well of course), but it's good to push things to the limit :)

How do you think a GTX 650 and an intel quad core q9400 @2.66GHz will handle it?

Also, he wrote requestments instead of requirements :)

    Also, resolution makes one of the biggest impacts. 760 -> 1080p -> 1440p is a jump of 2x pixel count, 1M, 2M, 3.7M.

I imagine you would need something new (7900s or 680s) to play it maxed out, but it really depends on the cars and map you play on.
Though like someone said, it's better off getting a good CPU if you want to play with good FPS.

For the livestreams they were using a GTX 560 with med settings, so you'll probably have to use med settings as well.

No, in the middle of one livestream they went into the options menu and you could read GTX 560.

Yup, GTX560 and i7 2600. Thankfully almost exactly on par with my system besides mine lacking HT.

So, does this mean I have to get my overclock on?

AMD A8 3850 quad core 2.9 GHz stock (Did have it at 3.3 for a while but was having some stability issues with a few games)
    AMD 7650 already overclocked well

Hey, I had a similar computer to that. They had old Intel graphics didn't they? Yeah, I remember barely being able to play Midnight Club 2.

I think my system should handle this fine: AMD Athlon x4 750K @3.4GHz, 8GB Corsair Vengeance Blue 1600MHz, Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition.

Yeah I'd say, However in the case of your second PC I think that would be a Screenshot Preview of what your other pc would be running only in a lower Resolution and probably lower textures.

    How is Win 8?

    Edit:
At least you will run fine once you can lift the curse of Intel graphics.

windows 8 is actually quite fast, and runs well, i havent had a SINGLE bsod yet, boot time is awesome, and anyone who says windows 8 is crap, has never used it, or just doesnt want to admit that they were wrong about it, and even then, most people only hate windows 8 because of the metro screen, even though there is plenty of 3rd party programs that re-add the start menu

and yeah, unfrotnley i probably wont be able to get my new gpu until christmas, so will be stuck with the curse of intel graphics until then
