this mod is abandoned, at list ofr now. but every art work i've produced is free for use if you're willing to make a mod out of theme. Or if any dev wants, they are yours I've been thinking about those for a while now, and i'm looking for excuses to get my self seriously into blender. i present to you my Piccolina Addons concepts. for now that's all i have. this includes body modification as basic as a sun roof to a country man version and a mini buss based on the same frame plus a totaly new car as some sort of a 2010's revivale. i don't know how much of this is fesable. I'm open to suggestions but i can't promess anything. What i'm panning to do for "sure" : -gardiniera piccolina(normal wagon, woody, pick up, panel, ambulance maybe) -early 50's piccolina split -mid 80's to 90's trim (plastification era) -a couple of stickers design -new eavyduty engine variant (fatter f4) What i'm hopping to do: -the multipla piccolina (family van, pannelvan, glass roof van, multivan, ambulance, gendarmerie ) -2000/2010's reboot. With a few face lift, electric and fuel powerd engine variants(maybe the vivace engines if they fits), a few diffrent series, with stickers and all (mademoiselle, ev, competizion, rally, race, all terrain,...) Ideas i like and concider (but will mostlikly never happened) -Some sort if coupe an convertible (alfa spyder/karman ghia) -2nd world war military concept cars and variants. -a topolino pre piccolina car -electric resto mod parts and motors -more autobellos. Now here are the current concept art i've made through out this thread that i concider ad finalised. The gardiniera complet with it's engin The plastification era trims Piccolina 2010's reboot
holy crap. these are some seriously good ideas! i wish i could sketch that well. (i can, and i can get close with some stuff, but i'm still learning things so they aren't the best rn.) i would love to help but i dont know shit about blender modeling. good luck though!
these are cool, but ideas and suggestions belong in the Ideas and Suggestions category. Or better yet, in the Dedicated Piccolina Thread
Amazing ideas bro! --- Post updated --- 2010's revivale like new 500? With other bodies, like 500L or 500X? A genius!
i'm thinking of turning this into something hopefully. do you think i should put those over there anyway? i might be too early in this project for this thread to exist, what do you guys think?
I gotta say, I saw a Morris Minor estate with the wood on the back. Piccolina would look awesome with that
i'm trying to think about the logistic of makining the flatest possible bed on the inside, if i can make a flater carb, it's promessing. i'm checking out some VW T3 engines for refrence more proper concept comming out --- Post updated --- View attachment 836762
Wow, that really is like the Morris Minor! Like a rear engined Morris Minor estate lmao. Awesome work
VW did that with the Typ 3 engines. The engine block would be the same, so you woud have to desing a new intake and exhaust. This is the complete Piccolina engine. This is the naked one (no exhaust or intake visible). If you move the alternator/generator pulley so it sits on the same height as the distributor cap (doable using just the JBEAM), you'll just have to model the intake and the exhaust to that new shape, since the intake does not have any "structure". You can even reuse parts of the intake, such as the alternator (even though you can use the pickup alternator model, since it doesn't have to spin the cooling fan anymore), the belt and even the cooling fan itself, just moving them to the right places. If the devs put the alternator pulley prop on the intake, instead of the engine itself, you wouldn't need to make a copy of every vanilla Autobello engine and move the pulley to the new position.
View attachment 836762 this is exactly what i was thinking about^^ i'm glade to see it wasn't only mounted ont the transporter T3 --- Post updated --- oooooh good idea! i don't know if i would mean more custom pannels (i'm trying to stay as lore friendly cost efficiancy) so i'll have to think abouit that
Well, for that you can cut the body and make a "platform" with one or two wheelbase lenghts and a bodystyle slot like we had on the Bluebuck. This will emulate quite realistically the versatility of the Beetle platform.
