Has anyone else experience either of these in the Mods Manager? :

    1. I disabled all mods, yet some of the map selections still appear as "blank spaces" (which say "missing preview") in the map menu. Normally I would think that if a map has been disabled, it should just disappear altogether from the menu.

    2. I disabled all mods, yet when I close the game and open it back up, some mods try to download without my having asked them to do so before hand.

It's strange, as I've only seen the first case a few other times, and have never had the second case happen before last night.

As an aside, I also noticed that when I first tried to disable all mods (I had 23 of 120 engaged); the page hung up for quite awhile and the disable process took quite a bit longer than it usually does. Has anyone else noticed this, or the other 2 items I mentioned above?

    Thank you for your time.

this problem is almost the exact same as the problem im facing. with mine, any mods and files that i deleted within like a 3 month period come back a week or so later after deleting. even if you completely delete the files off my computer it still happens

Its because there's some cache from those mods (e.g. some car mods have main_materials.json in vehicles folder stored inside the appdata.) Clearing the cache can solve this problem

Yes, very strange. At least I now know I'm not the only one having strange issues with it. I thought I was imagining it at first.

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought I had already cleared the cache, but I'll try it again.

also make sure to check your levels folder, sometimes map data can get saved there and cause this to happen

Afrer disabling a map mod you have to deep clean the cache rather than normal clean I think.

This same issue I am also facing as it shows the old grid map and if I load it my game crashes. I basically clear cache regularly to not face any issue, it still stays like a big fat dog.

I've had this before. The other day I reinstalled BeamNG only to find a bootleg Passat B4 mod show up that I must've installed in late 2016 or something.
